“In January, after the first of the major wind storms this winter, I had a leak in a familiar place in the roof. It would happen once every five or six years or so depending on the gale force direction. It happened a week later with the next bad storm and I knew I had to do something immediately. Looked up roofers in Quincy, saw Secure Roofing and noted they were local with great reviews. Called them first and Mike was immediately responsive! He came over at 7:30 AM the next day, found the problem and he and his workers came back in a few hours and fixed it pronto! He was fair in price and easy with which to do business. He advised me properly and the repair has done the job throughout all of these fierce winter storms. I plan to hire him back this Spring to replace the roof. He came out the next day to secure the roof before a series of rain storms came in. Great communication! Very responsive! The first clear day a week later they had everything ready to roll. PJ, the project manager, and his crew were also great. Got the entire 4400 sq ft house done in two days. We plan to have them come back in a few months to redo our soffits, gutters, and trim. “Last big rainstorm, I noticed that my roof had leaked. I had dreaded having another repair service come out as I have been burned in the past with incompetent workers (resulting in multiple visits to actually resolve the problem) and over charging. Highly recommend SML Roofing and repair! I selected them based on ratings but also the fact they give elderly and veterans discounts. I felt that said a lot about the values of the company and I wasn't wrong. This husband and wife team are warm and responsive and they were out the next day and very apologetic about not being able to come out that same day. They were very reasonably priced and he even went above and beyond. It seems like in this world between Covid and inflation businesses seem more out for money and this concept personal connection, quality work and going above and beyond while being very fairly priced and guaranteeing work is now the exception rather than the norm. SML is that exception! If you need roof, gutter work look no further! I haven't had a issue with my roof since!“

“Gary at Fitzpatrick roofing is hands down one of the best guys I have had the pleasure to do work with. Their company did our re-roofing for our Brownstone in Boston MA. Our old roof was done previously by them and even 9 years later when we has some leak problems he came out and did the patches no questions asked because it was still under warranty. So when it came time for a re-roof it was a no brainer to go with Fitzpatrick roofing again. He had even helped us our on gutter re-attachment and pigeon wire where other companies weren't interested because the job was too small. He's a guy that knows sometimes its the small jobs that keep customers happy and willing to stick with him over the years. Awesome experience and great customer service. “My husband and I engaged Mike and ICS for a complete exterior remodel on our duplex in Cambridge, which included (i) installing James Hardie siding and Azek trim, (ii) rebuilding our rotten back porch with composite decking and railings, (iii) installing roofing shingles on the mansard portion of our roof, (iv) removing insulation in our attic that had previously been improperly installed between the rafters by a prior owner, (v) installing new front and back doors, and (vi) installing new interior trim around the front and back door. We are so pleased with the final result and would definitely recommend ICS to anyone in the Cambridge/Somerville area looking for an exterior renovation/siding contractor.Given the high demand for siding contractors, we were worried that the project wouldn't be able to commence until well into the Summer of 2023, but Mike was able to fit in our project for the end of November 2022, which was great. Mike served as our primary point of contact and was communicative, easy-going and a pleasure to work with. He demonstrated a high level of expertise, as did his lead contractor on the project, and both were helpful in offering design suggestions for the back deck and trim. Even working through the cold months of November and December, the crew was on site nearly every day promptly at 8am (even the pretty cold days where we didn't expect them) and Mike was great about letting us know if they weren't coming. Mike and his crew were also very professional, even when dealing with some cranky neighbors, and took care to keep the worksite clean and as unobtrusive as possible for us and the neighbors.We ended up adding on the interior trim install to the project (which had to be re-installed as a result of replacing the front and back door that we were previously planning to do ourselves) and Mike and his crew were super easy going about the change order and didn't overcharge us.We appreciated that Mike and his team had ample experience in Cambridge. During our initial meeting with Mike to discuss the project and obtain a quote, he provided us with a long list of properties where they had installed Hardie siding denoting the color, which was very helpful and reflected that ICS stood behind its work.Thank you ICS for making our home look so beautiful!“
“Bob is wonderful. Called me right away show me a pic of my gutter with grass and dirt . I wasn't home so he left the amount I owed and I mailed him a check . It's nice to now some people trust to u to mail a check after the fact . He also notice that I needed just 1 gutter shield not 2 others so it saved me a lot of money .
