“We had Erie come out and strip the many layers of shingles off our house and replace with a new fiberglass shingle roof. They were able to complete the work in two days. There was a bit of a miscommunication on one part of our roof - we are planning on some renovations down the line which would require us to have a ridge vent, currently it doesn’t need it. They came back to next day to discuss the issue and promptly scheduled them to return and fix it. They were very attentive and I’m sure it will be done to our satisfaction.“

“We had a squirrel getting into our attic.Called empire to install new flashing around the chimney to keep the squirrel from getting in.Jim Sullivan came right out to my house and provided a fair estimate.The work was completed within 10 days.Empire replace 4 skylights in our kitchen a few years ago and they did good work with no drama, no chasing, no stories.I'd gladly call them again for more things to get taken care of.“

“We have an 1870's house in the historic part of Concord and all of the upstairs windows were original and needed a lot of TLC. Rather than replacing all of them (we could not use replacement windows, but would need to remove all of the window structures and do a complete replacement with wooden (2 over 2) windows to reflect what was there, we decided to look at window restorers. We found Kim Cleary last year and had his crew remove the windows, bring them back to the stop and rehab them completely in just under 6 weeks. They turned out beautiful and we are really happy with the results. We also noticed that the restored windows are so solid, that we are able to lower the temperature upstairs now, since the heat is not escaping thru them any longer. Just a great all around outcome. Highly recommended. Oh and the price was a bit more than using replacement windows, but would have been less if we completely replaced them with new custom windows.“

“Their work was WONDERFUL & PERFECT! We have a 100+ year old house, and when they stripped the old shingles off, they found a lot of rotted boards that they replaced. And at the end they spent almost four hours precision-installing new metal flashing around the chimney and under the shingles, meticulously sealing everywhere water might enter -- i've rarely seen such devotion to craftmanship no-matter-how-long-it-takes.And as arranged, they removed a skylight and boarded over the opening, with our agreement saying the added labor for that would be added tothe otherwise fixed price. But when the final bill arrived, they had done that work at no extra charge -- amazing!THANK YOU CREW AND MANAGERS AT E.M.Snow!“
