“Anthony at APL, Inc. is a top-notch professional who employs the most skilled subcontractors, who were not only respectful towards my property, but my neighbors as well. Prior to starting the project, my neighbors received notification of the project from Anthony, including relevant details that might cause noise disturbances, which my neighbors very much appreciated! As the homeowner, I was always well-informed of all upcoming activities (i.e., when my heat or water to be shut off or inspector visits) and changes in scheduling due to weather or conflicts. A lockbox was always used for entry which really minimized unnecessary traffic and dirt throughout the house and allowed the contractors access when I was unavailable. The entire crew worked reasonable hours, made every effort to keep the work site clean as they worked, and protected my property by either removing items out of harm’s way or covering large items as needed. I can happily report that there were no damages to my property!APL, Inc. successfully completed many large-scale projects at my residence (installed an upgraded septic system, added 1000 sq foot of additional space that included a foundation, finished basement, and two bedrooms with an ensuite on the main floor, completely remodeled the kitchen, and repainted the entire house). “We had Erie come out and strip the many layers of shingles off our house and replace with a new fiberglass shingle roof. They were able to complete the work in two days. There was a bit of a miscommunication on one part of our roof - we are planning on some renovations down the line which would require us to have a ridge vent, currently it doesn’t need it. They came back to next day to discuss the issue and promptly scheduled them to return and fix it. They were very attentive and I’m sure it will be done to our satisfaction.“

“We are so happy we hired Raven to restore our old windows. The windows desperately needed the full treatment to bring them back to life. We had a lot of wood rot and decay, misalignment, loud sash weights, broken cords, etc. Now they function beautifully - sashes glide easily up and down, top and bottom rails line up so we can engage the locks, and they have all new weatherstripping. And now they look incredible too. The original wavy glass is lovely and one window with florentine glass sparkles like jewelry. We couldn't be more satisfied. This team works miracles.“

“During the dead of winter, I accidentally smashed my bathroom window, a 30+-year-old double-hung Anderson. These guys showed up the same day, removed the damaged sash and boarded up the opening. They returned the very next day and installed the repaired sash. Everything works great and looks great. “We have an 1870's house in the historic part of Concord and all of the upstairs windows were original and needed a lot of TLC. Rather than replacing all of them (we could not use replacement windows, but would need to remove all of the window structures and do a complete replacement with wooden (2 over 2) windows to reflect what was there, we decided to look at window restorers. We found Kim Cleary last year and had his crew remove the windows, bring them back to the stop and rehab them completely in just under 6 weeks. They turned out beautiful and we are really happy with the results. We also noticed that the restored windows are so solid, that we are able to lower the temperature upstairs now, since the heat is not escaping thru them any longer. Just a great all around outcome. Highly recommended. Oh and the price was a bit more than using replacement windows, but would have been less if we completely replaced them with new custom windows.“

“Their work was WONDERFUL & PERFECT! We have a 100+ year old house, and when they stripped the old shingles off, they found a lot of rotted boards that they replaced. And at the end they spent almost four hours precision-installing new metal flashing around the chimney and under the shingles, meticulously sealing everywhere water might enter -- i've rarely seen such devotion to craftmanship no-matter-how-long-it-takes.And as arranged, they removed a skylight and boarded over the opening, with our agreement saying the added labor for that would be added tothe otherwise fixed price.
