“Always Best Care is an excellent agency. Their 24/7 care allowed us to fulfill my mom's wishes to stay home and never go into a facility. She listened to her and joked with her, brightening her life and always remaining positive. Immaculate and my mom would always greet each other with warmth and joy. I came home more than once to Rose and my mom laughing together or singing. All of them couselled us about end of life, what was normal and what to expect, helping us to support out mom the best way we could and for all these reasons, I am immensely grateful.“

“Gina was so great for my Mom. Thank you Gina. She cared for my mom over 5 years. My Mom was getting more and more with dementia. Gina knew my mom so well. She would help mom in the bathroom. She was overnight when needed before my mom moved to 24/7 care in a facility. But I was so happy I hired her for a schedule several hours a day. This was a permanent schedule, so when I needed her for different times, when she could, she did. I was never left out because of times. Gina found time and I too rearranged times so we could get what needed to be done. Gina is friendly, quite capable and trained in the needs my mom needed. My mom died at 94 but we took her out to museums, played games, ate at these museums. As a daughter I didn’t understand when my mom’s behavior was strange to me. But Gina would tell me this is her mood for a time being because of memory loss. As a child without training, I could not understand, but Gina knew my mom’s and could explain it to me so I would feel better. Gina has a heart of gold. Thank you Gina.“

“A little info: This place has really improved. It is very helpful that they have an urgent care practice. Make sure to check the hours, or even call ahead to ask. Hands down, this is a much better option than any hospital, and the care is top-notch. You DO need to be a patient of theirs to use urgent care-which is only fair! The overall Health Center is much cleaner than a while back-big improvement, keep it up! All staff there have been very kind, professional, and caring. Let us as patients treat them in the same manner!!! Ok me: I saw Dr. Semenya on the 22nd July, and received excellent care. I thought I was good to go. Through no fault of theirs, I spiked a fever on the 23rd, and called the urgent care. I went right over, and fever had gone to 101.4. They ran tests--but I knew what was coming--I needed to go to the hospital. The very nice NP (sorry, forgot your name) called an ambulance for me. I was that sick! Everyone was so kind. I had a follow-up after I got out of the hospital (eek, let us not review the hosp) and Dr. Semenya covered all my questions and explained things. I feel like a participant in my health care, and that is how I like things. I think I am the first to provide an Ipad poop sample! Kudos to Uphams Health. These folks are top notch! Finally, I will recognize that there are many staff whom do so much to keep this place going. The admins., the nursing staff, and the pharmacy. I thank you, and recognize you here with the respect and thanks that you deserve! Thanks!“

“Homily Care has been wonderful! Found them through A Place For Mom website when I needed to arrange for round-the-clock caregivers for my very ill elderly mother while in the hospital and rehab. Homily Care was able to provide support when other agencies couldn't help, or weren't reliable. Their care coordinator (Jamael) was SO helpful and professional. He answered every call/text in a timely manner and made sure to find the best-suited caregiver for my mom. Homily Care then continued to provide in-home services. Their CNA-trained staff made the difference in my mom's recovery. A special thank you to caregiver Valentina for her patience, energy and kindness.“
