After trying five or six different stylists when I first moved to Boston, I finally found the one and I’m never leaving. Tobey is exceptional at color, equally talented with cuts, and what sets him apart beyond his technical skill is how communicative he is. Tobey has been doing my hair for over ten years and I don't trust anyone else to do my color for me, especially since Asian hair is hard to work with. He's taken me from brown to ash gray to blonde to pink to purple back to dark and then back to blonde. He's so good I travel from LA to Boston to see him. My color still looks good in between my appointments when it grows out because he knows how to blend the color to make it look effortless.
