The Method Performance and Physical Therapy, LLC Physical Therapy

“I just finished three months of PT here and had a wonderful experience. Julia was great to work with: knowledgeable, educative, attentive, personable, and fun. I had been dealing with a groin injury from rugby for about a year, and was just coming off a frustrating experience with another PT provider which felt very copy-and-paste and lacked 1:1 attention. The individualized, 1:1 sessions here were a refreshing change; Julia used a comprehensive approach to treat my injury and educated me on everything we did. I’ve come away feeling stronger, healthier and more knowledgeable about my own body, and even have a personalized gym plan that Julia developed with me over our time together. I can’t recommend Julia and The Method enough- worth every penny!“

“BSM was recommended for PT after my knee meniscus repair. I told them I wanted to be ready to train asap for my climb in the Cascades later in the summer. Emily and Kyra were on board right away. Their commitment and professional dedication to my recovery was awesome. They pushed me to push myself with all of their focus, humor and kindness. The entire BSM staff are wonderful and would recommend them for any of your PT needs.“

“After 4 years of trying to solve plantar fascitis on my own, i stumbled upon Physix and decided to make the investment to work one on one with a specialist. I tried different podiatrists to try and solve it over the years, but all they want to do is sell you their insoles and give you a cortizone shot.

After 4-5 months of treatment with the team at Physix my plantar fascitis is 100% gone, and I feel my feet and leg strength are solid.

I worked with Dr. Brandon Drinan. At first we did weekly sessions, then shifted to bi-weekly sessions. The process focused on foundational strength, where each week there was an assessment of my progress and study of how my foot mechanics were evolving. The eye opener for me was that my feet were not functioning the same, especially how my heel would rotate, or not rotate with movements.
My workouts evolved weekly to add more complexity and exercises that would increase the challenge to my functional strength. I often had different exercises for each foot to get to a balanced mechanical movement......and they were all outlined on the app they set you up with so you can follow it on your phone, along with videos.

I have been a runner for years. I finished my last session with Brandon this week and am now going out for 7-8 mile runs on the weekend, with shorter runs during the week.

You get out of this what you put into it. I was dedicated to doing the workouts each day, intent on seeing progress. It paid off. And now I have a tool kit of exercises to use to keep myself strong.

I highly recommend the team at Physix, and especially recommend Brandon. He is a professional and was always available for immediate feedback during the week through the app.

If you have been suffering from plantar fascitis for a long time, go in and get your consultation with Physix. you will be happy you did it.“

Beyond her clinical skill, Nicole creates a calm, supportive atmosphere that makes each appointment something I genuinely look forward to. Spine & Sports Injury Center Physical Therapy

“I went in to see Dr. Morley with pain down my left leg that woke me up at night and would not allow me to get comfortable. I even had gone to an ER, where the doc told me it likely was just restless leg syndrome and take some Tylenol. Sure. That didn’t work. She probed and decided that some of the soft tissues were rather severely inflamed, then massaged, stretched, used some sort of electro-stimulator gizmo and gently manipulated. She then showed me hip stretches and an easy core strengthening exercise that even could be done in bed. All that gave some relief, stretching and ibuprofen that night helped reduce the pain more, and after 2 more days, the pain was gone and I could move more freely and without pain. Periodic “tune-ups” with her since then have kept the hip flexible and the pain away.“

Pure Performance Training Physical Therapy

“My kids and I have been going here for several months (multiple days per week). My 1:1 training sessions have been excellent. Working with Adam has really motivated me to get back into shape for all the sports I like to play (primarily tennis). My kids are teens and Pure Performance has amazing programs for young athletes who want to do off field/court training with trainers who have experience working with this cohort. No matter what time of day I’m at the gym (I’m writing this in July), there are high school and college athletes working hard with their friends— it’s a great vibe. Highly recommended!“

“The South Boston Bay State site is convenient, clean and professionally run. My physical therapist Liz F. was personable and confident in her therapy role. Evaluation for my hip injury was thorough/precise and my exercise plan reflected that. Every week ended with a positive. After working with Liz, I can now bend, tie my sneakers, get in and out of a car without pain. The outcome was better than I could have hoped. Thank you, Liz.“
