“My experience at this vet was wonderful. The staff was awesome. The doctor and his assistant was awesome ? they took their time explaining everything which I was at ease . I came in as a walk-in with my dog having his cyst on his back. When Doctor and assistant getting ready to drain the cyst it decides to squirt back at us LOL ? ??

“We have 6 dogs that Lake cares for and we wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else. We got married in May 2014 and each of us had 3 rescues that were now all part of one big family. They help us on so many levels and we are grateful for the entire staff. In 2013 I lost my dog Saban to old age. We had him for 12 years and he was 15 yrs old. Lake animal help me through the grief process and checked up on me for weeks after we had to put him down. They wrapped him up in his own blankets and placed him in a box my son built so we could bring him to our farm in Mississippi and bury him. They are the most compassionate Animal Hospital I've ever been to.These ladies are like family and we Love them all. Kenny & Valerie Peffer.. Update we're down to 3 but lake handled the end of life for each of our fur babies and helped us get through it. Still the best“

“First time customer and we will definitely be back! My Sim is a 7 year old special needs Shih Tzu. He's a rescue who has been groomed under sedation since he was rescued and he's also blind. After years of sedated grooms that were starting to affect him we reached out to see if they were willing to try grooming him without sedation (he was sedated due to his reactions when they groomed certain areas). They said they would give it try and they were successful! They have tricks to deal with little quirks and the treats I brought with him didn't hurt the situation. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a special needs or older animal to them for grooming as they took great care in grooming my dog that was previously classified as being too reactive to be groomed while awake. He was very happy when I picked him up and even had a cute little bandana on.“

“Fabulous groomer! Cannot say enough good things, we were so nervous to drop off our rescue doodle who is a sweetheart but can be nervous in a new situation. Melissa and everyone at Scissors Me Whiskers put him immediately at ease, they are so clearly animal lovers and take pride in their work. When I picked our dog off not only did he look and smell amazing, you could tell he felt great. We will definitely be back, and are so happy to have found this place!!
