They're courteous and certainly helped my hurt leg with heat and deep tissue rub.
Been there a few times and can definitely recommend.
Sonny is legit and my favorite.
Most parlors are just looking for money and other freaky stuff.

“This was an excellent massage and I’ve had a good amount of bodywork all over the world. A nice mix of Swedish with light Thai touches; draped acupressure-type then work on different areas with oil; hot stones; warm wet cloths to wipe off the oil. Though they didn’t ask us to fill out a form beforehand they quickly checked in on areas we wanted to focus & any areas to avoid as well as asked about pressure just the right number of times. It happened to be goldilocks perfect medium pressure for me. The massage therapist seemed to have such an intuitive sense of areas to work on & areas that were more sensitive. Very professional, safe feeling & targeted. 90 minutes of bliss. I definitely snored at least once it was so relaxing and also effective. Massaging & stretching those knots out. The price was also very reasonable. I had called around a number of places that were booked -since I just thought of having us get massages on our first day here in New Orleans. Especially since we had a redeye flight and we were not going to be able to check into our accommodations until later. It was actually a perfect way to rest & restore after a garden district walking tour. I’m surprised there were no yelp reviews but happy to see the Google reviews here to support my pick. And very happy to add my review as well to substantiate that this is an excellent establishment with highly skilled massage therapists. Appears to be run by an Asian collective (family?) of massage therapists - unobtrusive, considerate and deliver a great experience. My family was satisfied.“

He does an excellent job and always “checks in” about whether he is using appropriate pressure, knowing that I have systemic joint issues. He is friendly, professional and truly cares whether he is providing the muscle relief and stress relief that you need. I have been to many massage services, like EarthSavers, Woodhouse Spa, etc. They are nice, relaxing and have great amenities (thick robes, champagne, etc.) But I consider them “fluff” massages- they are not therapeutic. Logan @ Body Mechanix helps my mobility and eases my muscle pain. I go every month and would go more often if I could. Thanks, Logan!“
