706 Phosphor Ave Suite C, Metairie“Great dojo and excellent instructors. I did Shotokan karate for several years in my early 20s and I'm back at it after more than 30 years have passed. I am starting over and really enjoy it. I'm definitely not as fit or flexible now but the instructors and students have been welcoming, kind, patient, and positive. They will definitely push you to do your best and to train hard. That is what you want. This is the real deal and a gem of a dojo. Highly recommended.“

3909 Bienville St, New Orleans“We LOVE NOLA Aikido! My 11-yo looks forward to every practice session. As a parent, I appreciate how family-oriented the studio is: parents are always welcome to observe classes and Sensei Brian is very attuned to each student's strengths and needs. I especially love the way Aikido is a practice of both physical and mental mindfulness and agility, and Sensei Brian uses lessons to reinforce concepts of self-regulation and self-awareness, in ways that relate even off the mat. The monthly membership is reasonably priced and functions similarly to a yoga studio membership- kids are encouraged to attend as many classes as they like! Overall, the studio is a warm, welcoming, and encouraging space- a true MidCity gem!“

The environment is positive and structured, and safety is always a priority. You can tell the instructors truly care about each student’s development on and off the mat.
We’re grateful to be part of this school and highly recommend it to any parent.“
