Tiger-Rock Martial Arts of Metairie East

The Tiger Rock Marshall Arts program is the best sports and fitness activity that I have ever experienced in my 69 years of life! The program is perfect for children and adults of any age. Master Jordan is a master teacher, motivator and mentor. he expertly tailors the instruction to each class participant no matter what their age, fitness level or skills. My 8-year old grandson and I started classes two years ago. Our lives are changed remarkably for the better since we began the program. My grandson is now a highly skilled red belt. He is confident, strong, fit, and is now excelling in all sports and academics. He is respectful, self aware and disciplined, and his balance, agility, and mental ability are significantly enhanced. His life is truly transformed and when he reaches his goal of black belt, it will be the single most important accomplishment of his young life. I experienced the same transformation as my grandson. I feel younger than I did two years ago, and my confidence and fitness level are the best they have been since I was in my 40s. Prior to starting Tiger Rock lessons, I was an avid exerciser, due to my background in sports medicine. However, I had lost the ability to run, jump, balance and defend myself. I was suffering from the beginnings of osteoporosis, and experienced three fractures. Now after two years and a brown belt under Master Jordan's expert mentorship, I am able to participate in any activity that I choose. I am able to fall and stand up immediately without the use of my hands. I can now do 10 full push-ups, participate in high intensity jumping activities for over 30 minutes, kick while spinning and jumping, and break boards with my hands and feet. I also think more clearly, and have a much better and positive outlook on life. This program reversed my aging. I highly recommend it to all families, and all children, and especially anyone over the age of 50 who wants to change their life for the better.

Best school ever with the best instructor.

Sr. Master Jordan, as well as each and every instructor he hand selects to lead a class, focuses on technique, discipline, self-control, and growth. However, that is NOT the best part of Tiger Rock Metairie East and their classes. The best part is that they focus on the student and helping them succeed in their person goals. They take an interest, listen to parents’ goals for the class, kids’ goals for the class, and work diligently to help achieve them. They have helped my daughter’s confidence, self-discipline, and health and well being. They make very hard work FUN. They even do a good job managing a nervous mom. The class leaders are diverse in age, sex, and ethnicity. They encourage students to step into leadership roles- helping newer, younger, or less experienced students through example and teamwork. They share where they have struggled in competition and in class, and demonstrated that perseverance and hard work pay off. I highly recommend Tiger Rock Metairie East for children and adults.
