I cannot even explain (BUT I WILL TRY) - I WOULD NOT CALL THIS A FACILITY ! ?IT IS A HOME?with An Entire Staff that is so understanding, personal, kind, very knowledgeable, & full of compassion. My Lena is home & doing fantastic. Our lives have changed because of the severity of the location of her cyst one fall, playing with the wrong toy or accidentally bumping her jaw could completely shatter the remainder of jawbone. Dr. Richey explained in detail how there was not enough left to attach bone graft. But I will tell you this. They have become a part of our family and will be the first in the event an injury happens. ?HIGHLY RECOMMEND?“

“When I needed to get my dog seen quickly, they got us in right away. The office is nice and clean. Everyone was so nice and sweet with my dog. Dr. Slay took his time to explain what he thought was wrong with my dog’s eye and referred us to an ophthalmologist. His assessment ended up being correct and my baby is getting the care she needs. When I needed a medication refill they had it ready in 10 minutes. I will continuing taking my dog here.“

“I’m very pleased with the care my cat received at this clinic. My cat had been showing signs of urinary issues. This was my first time visiting Coursey Animal Hospital, and when I called and explained the situation the vet squeezed me in to his already busy schedule. My poor baby was scared and did not respond well to going to the vet, but Dr. Bob did not push him past his limits and only did what was absolutely necessary as to not traumatize him further. Throughout the entire visit I was updated on what was going on and was given an explanation for every action taken. As much as I hated knowing my cat was scared, I knew he was in good hands with a doctor who understood his limits. I can tell this clinic truly cares about their patients - I will continue taking my animals here! Thank you to the staff for caring about my baby as much as I do!“

“I woke up to my chinchilla very sick and called many places that didn't have knowledge about chinchillas or availability but VCA had both! I was able to get my baby in as soon as I called and they were very sweet and helpful. It has only been a week and he is back to his normal self. They even offered to help medicate and syringe feed him whenever I needed as well as checking up on him. I'm so thankful for the amazing vet techs and doctors here!“
“Animal Health Clinic has been such a blessing! I adopted a senior dog two years ago who was very overweight and had a plethora of other issues that accompanied his extra pounds. Dr. Leonards and all of the techs were always patient with answering my questions. My old man did succumb to kidney failure, but the staff was so sweet through the entire process. Since his passing, I got a new dog & taking her to AHC was a no-brainer! The entire staff greets her so excitedly anytime we walk in and they are always ready to help us! There is no better vet in Baton Rouge!“

“They were so amazing! My dog got neutered a few days ago at our home Vetco. They didn’t prescribed him any medicine to calm him. These doctors were so encouraging and helpful as we had to travel to visit Louisiana for the holidays! I’m so thankful and the medicine truly helped calm my boy down so he can’t properly heal.
