Our fur baby needed a knee surgery and BRVRC was an amazing place to bring her. They were always so kind, made getting a consult scheduled for her easy, Dr. Bordelon was so nice and professional and explained everything very well. They took great care of her and she is doing so much better. Highly recommend BRVRC to any one!

When my dog's nephew died of bloat at the age of three, I decided it was time to have a gastropexy (stomach tack) performed. A veterinarian friend recommended Dr. Bordelon. I was able to obtain a consult within a week, and he was able to perform the surgery the following day, saving me at least four hours of driving. (65 miles one way) He personally called three times after the surgery to update me on her condition, and the price was right at the lower estimate given.Thank you to Dr. Bordelon and all of the techs who fell in love with Stormy. We recently moved to Louisiana and during that move our 16 year old cat somehow broke his leg. The break was severe and we were referred to Baton Rouge Veterinary Specialists for treatment. Our cat was operated on by Doctor Bordelon last May and I'm very happy to say that he has fully recovered and were loving having our old guy back moving well all over the house. Doctor Bordelon was outstanding on keeping us informed during the entire process. The staff was also very attentive and supportive. We just wanted to say thanks to Doctor Bordelon and his staff at Baton Rouge Veterinary Specialists for saving our cat. Thanks!
