I loved my experience here! There was one patient being tended to when I arrived. I was instructed to take a seat and would be attended to shortly. I was immediately called up once the patient in front of me was taken to the back. She took my information, and I started with, “Can you check if you take my insurance?” I showed her the card, and she asked if it was out of state. I’m from Louisiana, just not Baton Rouge. She proceeded to enter all of the insurance information, along with my parents’ information, since the insurance is through them. I thought I was dying and I was, I was going into a diabetic coma. They tested my urine and it had sugar in it. I thank the whole team at Ochsner clinic and hospital for saving my life.

I have been Sick for a week. I thought it was just side effects from an infusion I had the week earlier but as the days went by I was getting worst. I was weak, nauseous, dizzy and had other problems we won’t discuss on here. We arrived at the Urgent care and I was taken in the back ASAP. The medical staff was so kind and so thoughtful. They made sure that I was comfortable and they listened to my sad story and still smiled. They were in and out of the exam room making sure that I had what I needed.
