“My work changed their insurance provider this year. I've been a Lens Crafters customer. It's all I know. I've been happy with the service but I know there's something better. I passed Eyecare on the Square plenty of times and was curious. Plus it's close to home which makes it convenient. I called and asked if they were accepting patients and my insurance. Thankfully they did. I needed an eye exam and new glasses. I made an appointment in the afternoon on a Friday. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My optometrist was Dr. Jonathan Burt. He was very patient and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed at all. At the end my eyes were healthy but needed an upgrade in my prescription. I opted for the progressive lenses. My insurance was able to cover most but at the end I was very satisfied with my service. It took 7 business days to receive my glasses. I have them now and I am slowly adjusting to the changes. So far so good. But I have 30 days and if it doesn't work, I can bring them back in for any changes I need. I'm glad I found this place and proud to support small businesses. I highly recommend Eyecare on the square. They definitely cater to your needs and make sure you are a happy customer.“

“To say Werner Optical Center is a small business would be a huge understatement. It's a few counters carved out of a hallway in the Christ Hospital medical office building (MOB). However, that's one of the things that makes this place so convenient--particularly for us. Our ophthalmologist, Dr. Kirby is right there as well (in an actual office, though--not the hall). So, after an eye exam, I can just walk out to browse my new frames and order my lenses. Tim Werner is thorough and professional. But be careful, he'll talk your ear off. Ask him about anything on any subject and he'll relay the most hilarious opinion you can imagine. Then before you know it, he's done with your measurements and order and it's time to choose a frame. Werner's inventory is small, but there's always something classic and stylish for you to choose from. Take your time. Tim is happy to let you browse as long as it takes for you to make your decision. After all, optical fashion is important to you. You don't want to leave there with glasses that are wrong for your face. Take all day if you have to. Tim likes that. He'll just keep talking and talking and talking. You'll never be at a loss for conversation while you're making your choice. So... Meeting Dr. Allen, O.D. was another great experience! I normally do not test well and end up with a pair of glasses that either I will not wear, or can not function because of the Rx not being what I need. Dr. Allen, O.D. gave me an extensive exam and answered all my questions.When I received my glasses (they came in before I expected them to arrive ) not only looked sharp, but I could finally read! With Tammy's help, I decided I wanted the sunglass clip and the computer clip since I work with computers most of the day.My experience with Schroer Eye Center was better than I could imagine. The customer service was over the top and would recommend Schroer's to anyone who is looking for a great pair of glasses.“
