“I don’t review many companies but Anew Surface is beyond deserving of the 5 star rating. Ian was prompt, communicative and precise in his answers to all of my preliminary questions. He answered them with detail, provided exact answers to all my questions described in detail as to his process compared to alternate methods other companies used. Ian told me about his experience and never pushed the sale of his product over others.

I did my research. I had three other companies come out all of which sent a sales rep who would not have been the person performing the work. Ian color matched a 23 year old tub base to perfection. The lines, curvature of the fiberglass tubs base and seams are faded to perfection. Ian said you may be able to tell because you know where the damage was but I’ll be honest. I can’t even tell. My wife said the same thing. She can’t tell where the repair was performed. The work is extraordinary. I worked from home during the process. Ian was professional, he didn’t disrupt my day, Ian quoted an amount and that was the amount invoiced after a full days work.

Ian said it is a process. Add fiberglass, thread through build it all back, feather it out make it seamless. He is a master at his profession and when he tells you something, take him at his word. I found it to be absolutely true and accurate.

“HiCon has completed several projects - one very large and a couple of smaller ones - at my home over the last year. They have done a beautiful job with all of them. They rebuilt a long retaining wall on my property, following the engineering design I had obtained for an Allan Block type wall. This project also involved reconstruction of a paver driveway, and the addition of a new sidewalk going to my back yard. They have project managers who help you with planning and oversight of the work in the various areas in which they specialize. For various reasons, not due to HiCon, the planning time period for the project became lengthy; Steve, the project manager, worked patiently with me over many months as I resolved some planning concerns. He also worked very well with the other professionals/contractors involved. The large project was completed in a timely manner in spite of some less than agreeable weather; Rob, the foreman, was always pleasant and on-task, and very easy to communicate with during the work. He also was very considerate of my neighbors, who were closely adjacent to the retaining wall part of the project.

I have since had a couple of smaller projects, and they have gone equally well, and been treated with great care and responsiveness on the part of all the HiCon employees involved.
