I can count on one hand the number of times I have experienced something impressive enough that I wouldn't sleep until I gave a review.
Here's mine:
They first came out to recharge my aging AC unit. I knew the system was on borrowed time, but I was hoping to get one more season out of it. Unfortunately, it turned out the evaporator coils were leaking, and within a week the refrigerant had leaked out and the unit stopped cooling.

They came back promptly, diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained my options without any pressure. They even sent me a quote for a replacement system that was far better than I expected. When I called to make sure it was correct, they confirmed it—and they had even credited me for the refrigerant that had leaked out. That level of fairness immediately impressed me.

The installation was scheduled quickly, and the crew did an excellent job. But what really earned my trust happened afterward.

I noticed the final invoice was higher than the quoted price, so I emailed them. Within 10 minutes, they had responded and then personally called me to apologize. They immediately acknowledged the mistake, went above and beyond to make it right, and personally delivered a check for the difference the very same day.

Everyone makes mistakes. What separates great companies from average ones is how they handle them. Midwest Mechanical HVAC handled theirs with honesty, urgency, and exceptional customer service.
