“Having a foreign body lodged in the inside of your eyelid continuously etching and re-etching your cornea and eyeball for 24 hours really puts "having a bad day" into perspective... although it sure puts everything else out of focus.I feel compelled to thank my eye doctor, Dr. Frankel, of Dr. Frankel Optometry in Lenexa KS for being the only one of 3 separate physicians who saw me for this issue to have the thoroughness to actually find and remove the offending particle from my eye. And if all that wasn't enough... he did all this on his day off. He voluntarily called me to follow up with me from my phone call to him during the previous evening, came into his office on his day off out of concern for me and invited me into an impromptu appointment. Thank you Dr. Frankel!“
