“My name is Chelsea Brooks and I am 39 days sober from alcohol. I have had the worst time trying to get anyone to help me, well, let me tell you God placed it on my heart to go to community health network and just reach out for help. I walked in to get set up with a primary care physician which I havent had one in over 7 years and I was a bit scared and really didn't know how to do it. Sarah at community, who was the receptionist lady working took so much extra time and patience just to hear my crys for help. She made me feel seen and heard and showed me the utmost compassion and respect and honestly sympathy in that moment I haven't had that in over 4 years. Soon after Jessica, Sarah's supervisor, stepped over and she gave me all her time and compassion and understanding and just gave me a kind ear to just tell my story too she saw me just like Sarah did and I haven't felt seen in so long and then on top of that, Elizabeth one of the therapists came over as well to just give me even more compassion and kindness and truth be told admiration because they could see the hurt on my face and what I have been through. I am an alcoholic but that does not define me, these beautiful, strong, powerful women are why I am going to continue on my sobriety journey. I thank the good Lord above that these ladies chose the field they are in because they are most certainly making a difference in my life beyond measure and I just want everyone to know! “First I took my son here a few weeks ago and they had him in and out with his medication ready to go!
2nd I have been dealing with a recurrent strep throat for about 30 years every 3 months and I had an appointment today. The Dr listened to me and told me her thoughts and suggestions. But she prescribed me 2 meds ive never been given in the at least 70 times I have had strep. I followed what she said and within hours I could drink water and eat some soup. Which is outstanding in my book and I absolutely am forever grateful and appreciate the ladies here. Thank you so very much“

They took care of me like I was their own family and I never felt like a burden or a task to be rushed through. When you’re already feeling physically terrible, that extra dose of kindness can make a world of difference. I was also impressed with the relatively low out of pocket costs, given that they were unable to use my insurance because I don’t live here. The waiting room was calm and comfortable.
