“My experience with Dr. Padhye was amazing. She listened, was thorough and I believe she will help me get my son where he needs to be with his numerous allergies. However; Jen, the front desk staff, I need you to read this. When I walked in the door you were immediately disrespectful about my paperwork, then berating me for forgetting my wallet until I was standing there holding my 12 month old sobbing..with another patient and parent in the lobby, mind you. You told the doctor that your intent wasn’t to upset me but I’m not sure what goal was with the way I was spoken to. I need to let you know that you do not know a single persons story when they walk in that door. You don’t know if they just got a terrible diagnosis, if a family member just died or if this appointment was already traumatic enough after SPRINTING their 11 month old blue, unresponsive baby into an ER begging them to save him after going into anaphylaxis. My goal with this portion of the review is for you to remember to be understanding, kind and know that how you treat people (especially at your place of work) is important. An apology would have gone a long way. I wanted to walk out of that door before even going back for our appointment because of how I was treated. An appointment I waited a month to have. Hopefully, you’ll lead with compassion and understanding moving forward.”
