“It was Sunday and my furnace was blowing cold. I called a few HVAC services, Korte had the least expensive service fee for a Sunday of $98. Nate (or Nathan) was my technician. Arrived in less than an hour after making the confirmation call. Very courteous and fixed the problem sufficiently. Went above and beyond by making a special trip to ensure I had a new clean filter, and even got me a back up. 10/10 would use them again and recommend them to anyone.“

“It was only a matter of time before my house’s plumbing suffered the dreaded Sunday clog…. I returned from a long weekend of military duty to a home with no plumbing. Short on time, I needed a professional asap. I called around and quite frankly everyone was rude and way more pricy than Drain Doctor. David, answered and instead of getting to enjoy his Sunday evening, he would be helping out a single dad in a crisis. David, the true hero??. Sure enough he pulled that bad Johnny out of my main line. Water continued to flow again. You don’t appreciate running water till it’s gone haha. He packed up all his tools and came back with a reasonable price considering it was after hours on a Sunday. The best part is he offered me a huge military discount, which meant a lot to a struggling dad. They showed up on time and their quote over the phone matched exactly what I was charged outside of a new expansion tank which also needed to be replaced. They charged a fair price for the expansion tank. They sent out two technicians who complete both installations in less than 3 hours. They are one of the few locally and family owned-operated plumbing & HVAC shops left in Fort Wayne. I would recommend them to anyone!“

But…, I was in too much of a hurry to get my frozen/burst outside faucet repaired to get competitive quotes. Made the Korte appointment for the next day.
I paid the $1250 bill that seemed too high. Upon getting additional quotes the next day other firms quoted $350 and $400. Buyer beware.“
