Roo is honestly the best hair stylist i’ve been to! She has a very thorough consultation and gives me realistic expectations for the results of my hair! Not only that, she only recommends services and products that have the health of my hair in mind. I always recommend her to everyone I know and my hair always comes out looking perfect!!
Whenever I come to Wip I always feel so welcome and safe. I love how bipoc and queer friendly they are, and especially love their newest member, Roo. I always feel so nervous to go get my hair done, especially by non-black stylists but I couldn’t have lucked out more with Roo. She was really patient and thorough throughout the whole consultation all the way to the end and included me in every step of the process. If you’re hoping to find a stylist you can trust go book with Roo neowwww!!!
So the story goes, I manically cut too much of my hair off while attempting to trim. Freaking out and knowing I couldn’t salvage it myself, I made an appointment with the unparalleled queen of hair, Ransome. I wanted a French Bob and wowww did she deliver. The atmosphere is soooo cool, her scalp massage was divine and I so appreciate the lack of gossip/small talk (small talk being one of the reasons I don’t like going to salons). For the first time in a very long time, I left a salon feeling chic and cool. I highly recommend! Ransome, Thank you so much!
