“My husband’s sister sadly passed away the beginning of August, 2026. She had pre-planned her funeral services. Unfortunately, her death and planned service occurred just before and during the time of the devastating Northwest Indiana tornadoes and derecho. Things had to be rescheduled. Calumet Park Funeral Chapel rose to the occasion and never missed a beat. They stayed in touch with us so that our family knew what to expect. When the day of her service finally arrived, we were not disappointed. There was a wonderful video of her life playing in the outer gathering room. Other displays and tables prepared with fond remembrances of her life were very tastefully done and reminded us all of her thirty nine year elementary teaching career. We were so pleased. The food choices were both plentiful and delicious and very much appreciated.
