“I went in the last quarter of 2024 for a consultation. My hair had been thinning and falling out for years and I wanted to see what was available. Because I lost so much hair I couldn’t hide traditional extensions so Melissa talked to me about mesh integration. The first installment was riddled with anxiety, having that much hair, getting over feeling like an imposter. I have had several re installs since and absolutely love it. I have since been diagnosed with hashimotos disease and anemia which would explain a lot of the hair loss over the years. Having this service available has allowed me to feel feminine while going through learning how to best manage this autoimmune disease. I regularly workout and sweat and have no issues whatsoever. The fit is great and the service is always professional and causal. Melissa brought on Danielle recently and they work so well together and both have a gentle reassuring approach to this service. The salon is clean and inviting. The owner Lindsey always remembers my name. I’ve had to bring my daughter (5) with me once or twice and one time jump up from the chair to pick up my other child from school and I have always felt like I am Melissa’s only client even though I know I am not. Never rushed or brushed off which I appreciate with a service like this because there is a learning curve and even though she’s the professional I’m the one wearing it 24/7. I’d been seeing the same stylist for over 15 years in Southern California, so I was a bit trepidatious when I moved here and had to find someone who could manage my very delicate, very fine, very fragile hair. On top of that, my hair is naturally dark but I prefer to be a bright blonde. From the first visit, she took her time to talk to me about what I was hoping to achieve and what was within reason to maintain the health of my hair. I loved the outcome of first colouring session. 2nd time, Billie adjusted /changed lighter colour keeping in mind of the goal. Billie does great job in what she does.

“Sarah did great and got me feeling like myself again! She also made my first ever salon experience a comfortable one. I have struggled with trichotillomania for 14 years. Although I have growth finally, it is still in process of growing back with uneven lengths. Add postpartum thinning into that and its been a nightmare to deal with. I basically live in a beanie!
