“Highly recommend getting windows and doors from Ultimate Home Solutions. I had all my double hung windows, patio door and front door replaced. From getting the job quoted to complete installation everything was handled professionally and done as ordered. They have a a showroom where you can see the actual products and test out windows, sliding glass door or front doors. Colin came out and measured each window before pricing and was also in charge of doing all the installation. Ganya kept me updated with emails and schedule for when project would be started and completed. Great service, great people and pricing was reasonable compared to 4 other companies.“

“What a great experience! From the first phone call, through the estimate and work, to the final clean-up, everything was better than expected.

Chad kept us informed every step of the way, from what work was being done, to the estimates completion date. When he showed up for the estimate, he gave us some options, took some measurements and we had a written estimate before he left. From approving the estimate to the materials showing up was only two weeks!

The crew (Andy and Jack) showed up every day ready to work and did so tirelessly until the end of each day. They asked great questions to make sure nothing got damaged or misplaced, and the finished product was better that we had hoped! All scrap was removed and our yard was left in great condition.

“We replaced the windows on the north side of our house, which was built in 1938, so I was skeptical about how well new windows would blend in. They look completely natural on the house — no complaints there.
The rooms on that side are noticeably warmer, and the sound dampening is impressive compared to the old single-pane windows we had.
Installation-wise, they did it right. Proper flashing tape on the sill and jambs, foam in multiple passes to fill the rough opening, and they even filled the old weight pockets in the wood frames with insulation. Interior trim work was clean, caulked well, and came out with no damage to the existing trim.
You get what you pay for, we will use them for more windows in the future!“

“I was formally in the trades and was known to be obsessive, compulsive and detailed. I can no longer do that type of work. The Polish workers who did the siding, soffit, fascia and gutters were extremely talented and did an extraordinary job. There are many bad contractors and the customer needs to be cautious. “Replaced asphalt shingle roof (with complete tear-off), along with new gutters and gutter leaf guards, July, 2025.
Bob of Berg Home Improvements was quick to respond to our call and to visit our house, and his estimate was quick and clear, with all options easy to price and evaluate. His crew appeared early, and all were on the roof and working by 7:00 a.m. Crew were polite and careful and worked efficiently and effectively, despite a heat index of 101 degrees and not a whiff of breeze. All roofing completed by noon on the second day. The gutter contractor appeared the next morning and installed ~250 feet of new gutter and gutter leaf guard by 2:30.
Pricing was fair (not meaning so-so, but meaning reasonable and in-line). All along, Bob was easy to work and communicate with, with very quick replies to all my email queries.

“We chose Valdicass to replace our main front entry door, 04 sliding patio doors and a rear entry door. When comparing Valdicass with a few other companies they offered the most competitive price. Price wise they are much more reasonable when compared to large companies like Renewal by Andersen.

Would also like to note how pleasant it was to work with Teri the operations manager. There were some unplanned installation issues that came up during the project that could have made this experience very stressful. However Teri was able to work with the supplier and then also get a team rescheduled to return back onsite to get all of the issues fixed and resolved. All in all I thought the installers did an excellent job.

“We had a great experience with Davis roofing! Roofing companies came to our house in droves after a bad hailstorm in Orland Park last spring. Davis roofing did not come to our door. We called them based on a recommendation from a family friend.

We met one of the owners, Jon, three times. He came out during the initial inspection with our insurance adjuster. He helped us navigate the insurance process. We realized that we didn't need to pay for a private adjuster to do this. The quote was upfront and based on the job/work performed, not on how much the insurance gave us.

On the day of installation I met the other owner, Jeff, who was overseeing the project. The workers surrounded the house with drop cloths. They kept the area clean and re-installed my satellite dish. They used Owen's Corning duration shingles which look great.

During design, Greg took time to listen to our wish list and came up with a great design combining our too small dining room and outdate kitchen layout with a larger, more functional space. “Sam came by, as he was in the area, to see if we wanted him to check our roof for damage. He checked it and said there was hail damage and offered to put a claim in with our insurance. I asked him if they do siding and windows and was told they do everything. He put in a request for an estimate on windows and siding and a couple days later Matt came by to measure for windows and siding on the second floor. The insurance handled the roof. They started tearing off the roof on Tuesday September 16 and also finished it the same day. They started on the Windows on the top floor the same day and finished the windows on the back of the house. On Wednesday the 17th, they replaced the windows on the front of the house. There was so much damage to the wall outside under our bedroom window, a new wall had to be built before the new window could be put in. By Saturday the 20th the siding was put on. This company was great to work with! They covered everthing, moved plant containers as needed, cleaned up every day they were here, and answered questions when we had them. We have more work to be done and will definitely have them again!“
