“I’m very happy with my grooming experience at The Barker Shop. Simon looks very handsome after every visit as did my previous dogs, Bob and Sugar.

The woman at the front desk was efficient and courteous. The groomer keeps excellent records, so communication of my grooming preferences is easy.

The new location is easy to access.

My kitty was in need of a last minute grooming and I was looking for a salon that would be calm and quiet so he wouldn’t be overwhelmed or scared, and this salon is the perfect environment! It was a one-on-one grooming which definitely made both me and my cat feel more comfortable. Chrissy was also able to accommodate us the same day which was very appreciated. This was the first time taking my cat to a groomer so I was a little nervous, but everything about the experience was wonderful. Chrissy was so kind and took great care of my kitty!“

“It is understatement when I say my dog always ends up looking happier and more confident after boarding with Paws in Paradise. I've left my dog there for a week at a time a few times and she comes out with a glow. My dog, Sweety has separation anxiety and is very supported by the staff (as she LOVES to get in between their legs lol). It is great they have strict requirements for vaccines and a negative fecal test which gives me more reassurance that she won't get sick. It's good she gets to meet other dogs there too as they have plenty of play time and socializing. The staff are very in tune with each pet and tailor the way they go about interacting with them too which is great to know it isn't a one size fits all. It really looks like they try to understand every dog that comes through their doors to really specialize their experience. Highly recommend. If price is a concern, I'd go bulk and get the 10 day package since you pay much less per visit and it's good to have for weekend/week long trips in which you know you'll be using it up for the year.“

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Blair, here for the last 7 months and she absolutely loves it. She goes 5 days a week and gets so excited every time. It’s extremely convenient for my unpredictable work schedule that they’re open from 7am–7pm.
I moved here for work without family nearby, but Dogtopia truly feels like a second home for Blair—and honestly, for me too. The staff is caring, attentive, and really treats the dogs like their own. I feel completely at ease knowing Blair is safe, happy, and well taken care of.

“I couldn’t say enough about the great team they have at this place. We have 2 dogs that go there 1 being a German Shepherd not even a year old and if you have been around a puppy you know they have TONS of energy. He has been here a few times and they showed patients getting all that we asked done working past his puppy energy and strength being a shepherd. They didn’t back down from a hard days work and welcome him back anytime which works out great for us with them being close to home. So if you haven’t checked them out recently or looking for a change go see what I’m talking about they’ll definitely take care of you.“

“Took my 14-year old Maltese there after trying some other groomers. Tyler was the groomer and she did a wonderful job on my Coconut. Spoke to her before the grooming and she was very understanding about some concerns I had. So glad I found Tyler, and I'm sure Coconut is too!!!“

“We just had our dog's teeth cleaned, and any procedure is more stressful to me than it is our dog! Aside from the clean facilities and promptness of our appointments, I really appreciated the constant communication by text before, during, and after her procedure. They were very accommodating with pick up schedules. We also had contact with the vet tech and the doc before and after the procedure. In the past at other vets, I felt that there were many hand offs and a lack of communication. Not here. I trust this place and the professionals that work there. I can't say my dog is less nervous, but I am!“

“We bring both our dog, Buckwheat, and our cat, Clarence, here, and they truly treat them like kings. A couple of years ago, Clarence had a blockage and needed to stay overnight for several days. The staff went above and beyond calling me every day with updates and even allowing me to visit him, which meant so much during a stressful time. When he came home, he was so soft and well-groomed that I could tell they had been brushing him and giving him lots of attention. It made me incredibly happy to know he was in such caring, attentive hands.

“I brought my dog here after a really bad past grooming experience, so I was honestly very nervous. From the moment I walked in, they were kind, patient, and understanding of everything I explained about her.

They reassured me they would take their time with her, give her breaks if needed, and even call me if she was too overwhelmed — which meant a lot to me. They also kept me updated and had me come right before she was done, which helped ease my anxiety.

My dog is high-energy and can be nervous, and they handled her with so much patience and care. She did get a little anxious at times (which I expected), but they worked with her instead of forcing anything.

When I picked her up, she looked amazing, and more importantly, she was happy to see me, wagging her tail and acting like herself. That told me everything I needed to know.

Yes, they are on the pricier side, but in my opinion it is 100% worth it for the level of care, patience, and respect they give the dogs. You can tell they truly care.
