“Ever since I was young, I was always training, always looking for ways to develop into a better soccer player, and always trying to find any edge to become better than any other player. I’ve worked with so many different coaches, mentors, and players, both in person and online. Through all the trial and error, I’ve learned a lot about what actually develops talent and produces results because, at the end of the day, results are what matter.
I first met Dr. Stu when I was around 16 because one of my coaches told me he was a magician. At the time, I was dealing with pain in my feet from training methods I had learned and misunderstood through my own experimentation. At first, I wasn’t completely convinced by Dr. Stu’s approach because my mindset back then wasn’t in favor of doing a lot of weightlifting to get to the next level. Looking back, I was too closed-minded and didn’t understand the philosophy behind the work.
Over time, I came back to Dr. Stu while still dealing with recurring issues in my ankles and feet. Since I couldn’t always afford to attend sessions, I took what I had learned and tried to do the work on my own. Eventually, I realized I was mostly just copying the exercises. I knew the movements, but I didn’t truly understand the intent behind them or how everything was supposed to work together.
That realization completely changed the way I looked at the work. Through trial and error, injuries, setbacks, and working with different people, I developed a much deeper appreciation for what Dr. Stu, Germano, and everyone at Paradigm established.
Dr. Stu is one of the most knowledgeable and generous mentors I’ve ever worked with. He completely changed the way I view the human body, and sometimes I feel like it was divine intervention that I was able to cross paths with him. His understanding of the body and how to develop it is something I haven’t experienced anywhere else.
And it’s not just the physical training. The energy at Paradigm is a huge part of what makes it special. The small-sided games, the coaches, and being surrounded by people who genuinely want to improve create an environment that pushes you to level up. When you’re constantly around people who are serious about getting better, it naturally raises your standard.
Germano is a gifted mentor and athlete. I had the opportunity to play against him in small-sided games, and being around and competing against someone at that level pushed me into another caliber of play. He’s also an extremely intelligent coach and player.
Paradigm isn’t a guarantee or a shortcut to becoming a professional. Every player has a different path, and development depends on many different factors. What I can speak to is my own experience. For me, this program helped me become pain-free when nothing else worked. It completely changed my understanding of my body and gave me tools and knowledge that I believe have made me a better athlete.
I’m extremely grateful that my journey brought me here. After everything I’ve tried and experienced throughout my soccer career, I can confidently say that what Dr. Stu, Germano, and the entire Paradigm team have built is truly special.
