About Prairie Landing Golf Club
Prairie Landing Golf Club is a premier public golf facility in West Chicago, known for its beautifully designed Trent Jones Jr. links and excellent condition. The course is praised for its fantastic layout, rolling greens, and well-maintained fairways. The club's ballrooms and McChesney's Pub & Grill restaurant make it a popular spot for events and dining. While some golfers have noted that pace of play can be slow, especially on the back nine, the course's condition and friendly staff have earned it high marks. The driving range and putting green are also well-regarded, and the golf pro and his team are commended for their instruction and welcoming nature. Despite some drawbacks, Prairie Landing Golf Club is widely considered one of the top golf courses in the area.
One of my favorite courses to date. Who ever designed this track made it extremely versatile. Love that it has a 19 and 20th hole with a massive practice facility. Great work team! I'll be back.
I'm an out of state resident visiting friends in the area. Course is a great, links style layout, well maintained and plays fair. Four-hour round on a Sunday morning. Rental clubs were Callaway, high quality throughout the bag. Can't wait to play again.
This golf course is one of our favorites! It has beautiful views, and a nice variety of challenging holes.
We had a membership there this year and made good use of the driving range, 2 practice holes, and putting/ chipping areas.
McChesney's Pub is the perfect stop after paying a round. A solid menu with week day specials, friendly staff, and outstanding views of the course. Highly recommended!
