I will change my review if anything changes. From the experience I had today, the doctor and the technician deserve 5 stars. The front staff however were incredibly rude and condescending. I also heard them talking about other patients. Very unprofessional. I was warned about the staff here and it was sad to discover the warnings were accurate.

I wish there was a way to give them a negative rating. Dr. Patel and Dr. Virasch performed 4 surgeries on my left eye and permanently damaged my eye. They are unqualified and hacks.

Do not trust them with your precious eyesight. They lack everything you look for in a doctor: professionalism, expertise, competence, empathy, compassion.

Go to Northwestern!

Please do yourself, your family and your precious eyes a favor and stay away from University Ophthalmology in Skokie,Il. and my educated guess is ALL of their hubs throughout Chicagoland!

Dr. Tatyana Spektor was seen at the Skokie location for a full comprehensive eye check up and prescription.

FYI it was NOT our first time seeing an Ophthalmologist !
The prescription and the results of the refractions were ALL incorrect and inaccurate.
Speaking to the office they wanted us to come back and see another in their practice!--- No thank you!
