“I have been taking my pup tekila here for about 5 years now and I've never had an issue. I have always been told when grooming will take longer than expected, and they have been patient with me when I can't pick her up right away. Tuki had a really bad experience with her previous groomer. They trimmed a part of her hair too far and took a part of her skin round her stomach. When I took her the first time she was nervous and shaking. I was introduced to a weekly treatment that helped her skin heal and her hair grow back. Now when I take her I don't even need to put her on a leash. She is excited and kisses the receptionist and her groomer too. I don't worry when she is there because i know the staff is trained and know what they are doing, on top of that. The photo shoots are really nice. I try to get them every chance I get.“

“I’m very happy with my grooming experience at The Barker Shop. Simon looks very handsome after every visit as did my previous dogs, Bob and Sugar.

The woman at the front desk was efficient and courteous. The groomer keeps excellent records, so communication of my grooming preferences is easy.

Dr. Carlson and the Vet technicians demonstrated genuine passion and understanding when dealing with my dog; he has a lot of anxiety and may be challenging, but they were calm with him. “A relative gave me a dog that they could no longer care for, and I wanted to give her a fresh start in my home, including some grooming care. I let the groomers know about a small rash she had and some matting, and they asked me to bring her in so they could assess her. They took care of everything, and she came back happy, smelling great, and with soft fur. I love the personal attention here and will definitely be back instead of going to a big box store.“

“Awesome job on the nail trim. Dog's nails look great and she is in great spirits. All around positive experience which is much appreciated after a bad experience with a nail being trimmed too short at a different groomer months prior. “High praise for this Pets Hotel. First, the good, these are dog people! They love the animals like they are their own even if they are only staying one day. I always get extra perks and love receiving the photos of my dog receiving private story time. Also, one play session, my dog had a seizure and I sincerely appreciated the care and attention the staff showed our dog and us. They are trustworthy and good! My one critique is that sometimes PetSmart fills the hotel to capacity and when they are heavily busy or understaffed, my dog has not received the perks I scheduled. But I’m not charged when that happens, just a little disappointed that my dog didn’t have a premium experience. But all in all, I feel confident taking my dog here and I am happy that this service is available.“

“Dr. Perez was the vet to my mother's cats for many years. During the pandemic he did house calls for her since she was going through cancer treatments. She sadly passed away in 2023 and I have taken over the care of her senior cats. Her 19 year cat had ongoing kidney disease and took a turn for the worse over the holidays. We knew it was time to end her suffering. She is a very fearful cat so we greatly appreciated that Dr Perez offers in home euthanasia. Dr Perez assured us we were making the right decision, and explained the process before and during. He and his assistant were both very comforting during this difficult time and we truly appreciated their compassion. Since then Dr. Perez has helped another of our senior cats with an acute allergy attack that ended up requiring medical intervention. Not only is Dr Perez's extremely intelligent and a great vet, he is a kind person, and the costs for his services I found very affordable. Thank you Dr Perez!“
