“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable“

“I just had to write a review of Countryside Animal Clinic, because they have given the most incredible care to all of my pets. My 10 year old French bulldog, Bruno, recently became very ill. We had to make the decision to put him down as he was starting to have seizures and decline quickly. Mary, Countryside's manager, got us in quickly. It was a tough situation as I was flying back in from out of town. Having to do something like this with your beloved pet is so, so difficult. The staff at Countryside, from Naomi at the front desk, from the gentle care from Dr. Mary Hannah and to the love of Bruno from vet tech Chris, made what could have been the worst life experience much more bearable. They treated Bruno with so much love and respect. Dr. Hannah was SO kind in how she spoke to Bruno gently and lovingly. This was so calming and reassuring for me and Bruno. Chris held and hugged Bruno giving him little treats with tears in her eyes. Countryside REALLY loved my dog. I also can't forget to mention Dr. Malitz and all the other amazing stuff there. They literally have no turnover of staff which speaks volumes! I have had a rough couple of months and have sent countless emails and made many phone calls out of concern, and they were always kind, patient and helpful. Thank you Countryside for the incredible love and care you gave to Bruno.“

“I have been going to this vet for 10 years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building, with its updates, is clean and has a modern look. I absolutely love Dr. Bannow. She has been wonderful with all of the issues both of my dogs have had, such as cancer and arthritis. Dr. Bannow is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She takes the time to explain everything. She is conservative and doesn't push extra stuff either. Additionally, Dr. Bannow is professional yet extremely personable. She really cares for you and your pet. I highly recommend her. I wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact, I drive 45 minutes just to see Dr. Bannow.“

“Dr. Scott Averill is very talented and humble. I remember during the lock downs — for our consult prior to the procedure he actually comes outside to the parking lot (when most doctors wouldn’t even talk to you in person) and he literally gets on the ground on his back to examine our dog (literally on the hot ground mid Summer).. This Doctor is truly one of a kind. The part that stood out the most for me was that the surgery cost a set amount of money — after the surgery Dr. Scott Averill literally has his office refund me $400+ dollars because He said he didn’t end up needing certain supplies etc., the point is that in my entire life time I’ve never met a Doctor with such high integrity and bed side manner.. I am still beyond impressed with the way he runs his clinic. This gentleman is truly one of a kind and I highly recommend you come see him for your pet needs. He has ‘golden hands’ and a heart of gold!“
