“My dogs paw got stuck in the floor vent on the 4th of July and he ripped/broke his toenail. I just lost my job and was so worried about cost. Sugar Grove Animal Hospital staff was amazing they took such good care of my boy and I was outta there for $80. That includes 2 medications and a nail trim for the other nails. “My dog Bud is 15 years old and has been struggling with some illness lately, and I dont want him at the groomers for 2-3 hours. A friend recommended Wiggle Butts and I’m so glad I called them. They did an amazing job on Bud and it only took them 30 minutes. I’ll for sure use them again.“

“Our cat suffered a paw injury and began limping and we started calling around vets but couldn’t get any soon appt, we called Gentle Care Vet and they got us in same day morning appt ! Same thing happened again when we needed an appt and again, we were given a same day appt. The Dr is patient and takes his time, he examined her, trimmed her nails, gave an antibiotic shot and prescription for home. He took time to show us how to administer the oral antibiotics as well. They are very responsive over the phone as well. Turns out our cat is somewhat injury prone since she wounded her ear recently and I wasn’t sure if it was an injury, ear infection, or ear mites and the Dr was able to look at pics of her ear and reassure me it wasn’t ear mites but a wound. Would highly recommend !“

“We've been utilizing John's kenneling services for probably over 10 years now. When we have picked up the dogs, they are always well and happy to see us. Also the prices are very competitive and the facility is local to where I live. He has also been happy to do last minute accommodations when i have had to do that. It is not a fancy dog hotel nor are there a bunch of bells and whistles but John is attentive, professional and calm which is a good quality to have when working around dogs. He also offers other services like dog walks during boarding and grooming. When i come to pick up or drop off I see him working the grounds or busy in the kennels. His home is right on the property which is nice. Our latest dog was not well socialized at first and not great with men but has had no issues with him, although jokes about his barking (which is very true). Some things to keep in mind...make sure to offer specific instructions (and write down) if your dog has special needs like feeding times, medication, etc. Also take note of the hours. One day and on weekends he closes earlier than normal. (Sunday's pick up is only an hour long). Finally if your dog goes to the bathroom on the property and you don't have a bag, let John know where it is and he'll gladly pick it up for you. I will happily continue to keep boarding my pets here.“

He trained under one of the best avian vets in the Chicagoland area in his teens and has become an incredible, compassionate veterinarian. He’s also really funny and an all around cool guy!!“

Provided me with multiple options of care that was the most affordable yet still would result in our kitten getting better and back to 100%. “I took my baby here this morning to get a wellness exam and her updated rabies shots. Had an appointment for 8:45 AM we came on time got checked in at the counter. The lady checking us in seemed to be having a bad day. She wasn't all that friendly. However, everyone else was very pleasant. The veterinarian was so kind and informative, she let me ask all the questions I needed and answered any of my concerns. I came in at 8:45 and left at 9:20ish. Which is pretty good. I also thought the price was pretty affordable. For her wellness check and 3 year rabies altogether it was $180.00. I was definitely preparing for a steeper number than that. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I always feel my kitty is in great care here.“
