“I recently began using BrightStar Care with my father three days a week to slowly transition them into the home care idea. We were blessed to have a gentleman named Al come to their home. He was amazing! He found out what they were looking for and stepped right in to help with some house hold chores like cleaning my dad's bathroom, making him lunch and helping him get moving such; as walking the house. He is open to playing board games and talking about all sorts of topics with my dad. Al understands my dads crazy dry humor and laughs at all the jokes we have heard for years. Having fresh ears for these jokes is a wonder for us all. My dad looks forward to seeing Al and my mom can now go run errands while Al is there providing her with piece of mind knowing that if he falls someone is there to help.“

“Chanda was sent to us by Griswold Home Care. He took care of my Mom, who had dementia, for the last three years. He has to be the most gentle and caring man that I have ever met. He grew to be one of our family, and was with us when she died. He showed compassion, understanding, companionship, and happily saw to taking care of everything she needed 24/7. I would highly recommend him and Griswold to anyone whose loved one needs a caretaker. ?“

“I have multiple visits now for home health covered by my health insurance after a major surgery. The care givers have all been knowledgeable W/ the task on hand. They were both good communicators as well, as far as an ETA When they were gonna arrive and if they were running late keeping me updated.

“I have had my husband in this marvelous facility for 6 years. I can say this is an excellent care facility. The caregiver to resident ratio is 4-5 to 1--excellent and the facility is white glove clean! They serve homemade food and fresh fruit, not the junk you get at the corporate facilities. It is a comfortable home so residents do not feel they are in a hospital like so many of the big places. This is how assisted living should be done! Check out this wonderful home!“
