They helped out tremendously and got me the right stuff I needed to get her approved to get help. If there’s anyone needing help for their family definitely use them they are beyond nice and the owner does truly care about his patients that they have and make sure they have top notch staff working there. “Used Griswold for my son's wedding. We were coming from out of town to Chicago and did not know who was the best pick. We needed an aide for my dad who is in a wheelchair and needed help dressing and getting to the church plus reception. Edmond was 5 star. We really made the best choice. Traycee was the only service to call us back out of 6 or 7 that we tried, and we had a caregiver by 9pm that evening. Every single person who worked those final12 days of my mom’s life was dedicated and caring. I was able to phone screen each person to ensure I felt comfortable, and when there wasn’t a good fit, a replacement was found immediately. “I was recently hospitalized for a hip replacement, and found that I had greatly underestimated the impact of the procedure and my ability to care for myself at home. I was in a panic as North-Shore/Skokie hospital was going to discharge me the next day. A friend referred me to Jamie Shapiro and Companion Services (Deerfield). She quickly put my mind at ease arranged for someone to care for me my first night home. She also arranged for coverage the next 6 nights, by two caregivers. Although I wasn't sure what my needs were, I told Jamie that I'd rather have someone and not need them than need someone and not have them! All three women were absolute Angels! I was so grateful for their sweetness, compassion and skill, and I know my recovery was greatly enhanced by their help and the peace of mind they provided.
