Liz and her team are experts in hair. On a referral from a friend, I came in for an appointment (I have very curly hair), that was over 8 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I haven't had a cut for roughly 2 years. Jessica made me feel safe and help me figure out what I wanted. Apparently that was bangs ? I had really long curly hair and it was knotted and messy, but she worked with it and gave me a really nice, neck length haircut. She's LGBTQ+ friendly, so I really recommend her as she made me feel safe and helped me express myself! It was very worth the price!

I had never gone tanning before and Cabo Tan made my first tanning experience so easy and enjoyable. I’ve been going to Karen for about 2 years now and she is wonderful! She takes her time to make sure your cut is the way you want it and she explains each product she uses and its benefits. She has a wealth of knowledge, not only about hair, but about natural products and practices as well. She cares about her customers and wants to give them the best deals on products. She is also happy to give customers samples of products to try before committing to buying. She also cuts my daughter’s curly mixed hair and does such a great job with her too. Not everyone can cut curly hair well, but Karen does.

Suzanne, the very talented gifted hair stylist & salon owner who specializes in all kinds of hair, has been my hair savior since I moved to IL couple years ago when it was hard to find a good stylist for my black hair, till my wedding a month ago and after my honeymoon few weeks ago. My hubby didn't even want me to take down the wedding hair which I obliged him till after the honeymoon. I couldn't have survived so far without her. I'm very sorry for not doing this review earlier.

This is our 3rd time using Rein electric to make modifications to our older home. They have updated our breaker box to be within code, added 220 outlets, wired a ceiling light/fan on a very slanted very tall ceiling, replaced receptacles with modern ones and addedoutlets to a garage that didn't have any.
Every time is professional and courteous. Anthony and Paul are always responsive to changes and answer questions without hesitation. Actual cost came in under the bid and faster than I would have thought. Can't recommend them enough.

Lightscape is a creative lighting company that set lites so that they are beautiful and provide beautiful light and their lighting systems do not irritate neighbors with bright down lights etc! But what sets companies apart from everyone else is what they do with more difficult problems. A large number of small pool lights were installed at our house 5 years ago; they were found to be weaker than they should be and were broken quickly at there stems. Lightscape recognized the product flaw, and replaced them with a newer , stronger version. For this I am truly grateful.

TGF installed a display of bricks in our yard. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them for similar projects. Great attention to detail and they were generally responsive and on time.
I had a retaining wall that needed to be repaired and reset as the original installer failed to put in the proper drainage. Greg's team had to dig out and take apart nearly 35 feet of a wall that is 4 feet high. They completely reset the wall, installed the proper french drain system and put it back in better shape than the original wall.
Sloan's also installed a new retaining wall on the side of our house that is severely sloped to create a raised planting bed and stop the erosion from the side of the house. It matches the existing retaining wall that was repaired at the back of our yard. It looks great and our neighbors have commented on how fantastic it looks.

I contracted ELAN Landscaping to do some work around my yard. The price I paid compared to the quality of the work was absolutely incredible. They hit every single inch of my yard and it looked incredible after. The guys were very respectful and worked hard despite the heat. They worked all day long. Dan and Betsy were absolutely lovely to deal with as well on the back end and paying my bill through Zelle made that part way easier. Gaspar the foreman was a stand up professional as well. Dr Attar is my endo that did my tooth extraction. I was told from other dentists and an endo I'd need a root canal. I didn't want that. My gut feeling sent me to Dr Attar thru a referral from my uncle. I mean 10 seconds and didn't feel a thing! I couldn't be happier. I met the team and staff and everyone was so cordial and kind. I am quite thankful I went to Dr Attar than everyone else. Also I appreciated that he had great bedside manner and asked if I had other concerns to treat. I asked him about my gums and I was happy to feel reassured that I was overall healthy.

We greatly appreciate the doctors hearing our concerns and collaborating with us on a treatment plan for our pet. Our visit came as a result of needing a 2nd opinion on a surgery. Dr. McKenzie listened to all our concerns, and presented multiple options in an easy to understand manner. When it became clear that surgery was needed, the surgeon, Dr. Weber, performed a seamless and minimally invasive procedure. She was quick to provide updates via phone call, and gave clear post-treatment instructions that have led to an easy-to-manage home care plan. We are so grateful to have our cat, Theo, alive and on the mend!

We were informed by a letter that Dr Dzien has decided to retire. I wished he had given us a longer notice.
First time with my newly adopted kitten from Orphans of the Storm. The vet completed a health check, complete with nail trim, a few shots that were due and had time to neuter at the same visit. Friendly, easy, clean. The facility is nice with spacious consultation rooms that would fit a family.

I took a Gentle Restorative class back in October 2025 with Julia Jonson and… Here I am, 8 months later, still going to this studio to get my weekly yoga session in. I go at least 2-3 times per week. I also attend workshops. Julia teaches pranayama workshops once a month and I highly recommend it! This helped me understand how the breath regulates the nervous system. I started paying more attention to my body and noticed that when my nervous system is on overdrive, my body becomes stiff which is why it was so hard for me to hold any yoga pose. By showing up to class, I allow my body to let go of tension and breathe in some ease.

My friend referred me to Black Cat Yoga Studio and now it's my favorite. The instructors are very attentive and devoted to the class, they guides one with proper instructions, even walks up to correct one's posture/pose during the class. Yoga mats, blocks, weights, straps, bolsters and other yoga tools are available.

I have been getting massages from Julie for about 2 years. She is very good at weeding out the tight muscles particularly in my back and neck. I would consider her a master massage therapist and worth every penny I spend to care for myself. I would recommend her to anyone especially if they have a chronic illness like I do.

If you want real answers and results, I suggest you contact Dr. Shepherd. My wife took me to see Dr Shepherd. While he was treating me for a herniated disc he mentioned that my wife looked lethargic and that he could help her. With some coaxing she agreed and he treated her on the spot. She was a completely new woman. Lots of fun and energy. No more epileptic petit mal seizures. She was like a teenager and was now very hard for me to keep up with. That was over 25 years ago.I had been to a number of specialists in the mid 1980's and they prescribed many different drugs to combat my debilitating illness that was caused by a severe electric shock. Those medications made me feel worse.My dentist told me to see this uniquely wonderful physician. Dr. Shepherd's treatment got rid of my excruciating headaches, stopped the seizures and got me off those drugs. I say he saved my life and made me whole.So, to this very day, it is with confidence for me to say that he is my doctor and he will treat you with an abundance of ever expanding knowledge to make you whole and your life better.
I have been going to Dean for a little over a year now. I have end stage arthritis of my wrist. Only cure for the pain is surgery or heavy duty drugs. Also recently developed Covid Asthma. Since I have started treatment with him, the pain in the wrist is now manageable and my breathing is better. He is kind and never minds taking his time to explain how and why he does what he does.
