2800 Bernice Ave unit 16, Lansing“I highly recommend Steve and his company to work on an HVAC issues. His service fee is $40 below Home Warranty of America. He and his team was professional and did a phenomenal job without trying to sell me stuff I don't need.
A couple of week's ago, my 2 year old Goodman furnace was not working probably with the negative temps on 1/22-24. I contacted Home Warranty of America, who replaced my old unit with the Goodman unit. They sent a Service Provider. The Service Provider a very nice guy came out 3X, still it was freezing in my kitchen area and the thermostat was between 58-66°. I continued to contact Home Warranty of America. They denied the claim citing an ductwork issue, which the Service Provider never told them. He told them the furnace was bad or there was an airflow issue. Instead of them sending another Service Provider to get a second opinion, they denied the claim a second time.
I took matter into my own hands. I went to the Goodman Manufacturing website. There was no customer service number, just a form. They however stated if you have questions, you can contact an Authorized Goodman Dealer. This is where Steve came in. I contacted him on 2/2. He came out on the same date. He and his team fixed the problem! They also made sure all the dampers were fully opened. He changed the fan to a level 4 and adjusted the Static Pressure. The issue was the furnace sizing.
I will be contacted Home Warranty of America for a reimbursement of $80! All they had to do was send out someone else but they refused. I will be ending ny contract with them and keeping Steve's info!“
