Awesome experience! Hired for my daughters 11th birthday party and it was a hit! All of the girls loved the party, being pampered and the staff was great with the kids. This was such a low effort experience to set up as well. Would def recommend and would do this again.

This place should have a line outside waiting for a cut!!! If you're new here they ask what you want and point out how your current cut may affect the job. Stopped several times during the cut to be sure I was happy with the direction. If you need fancy or sexy this might not be the spot. Good cut ... Fair Price ... Local Business ... This should be the spot! I'll be back ...

Jenny is by far the best person doing nails in Lake Zurich. She’s meticulous, she has a high quality polish selection, and her prices are reasonable. Whenever I can’t get in with her I make the mistake of going elsewhere, paying double and redoing my nails when I get home.

I enjoy getting my nails done here. I am not a regular but more a special occasion visit here and there. Every visit, my nails last at least 2 weeks, if not longer!
They do a very nice job, but my last nail tech moved very slowly. They were very much a perfectionist. Give yourself 2 hours for a mani pedi.

I’ve been coming to NV for nearly two years now, and I never leave disappointed! It took me a while to find a tech that can do AND fill gel-x nails - Eric is extremely patient and really takes his time to make sure my nails are perfect. He always accommodates all my crazy requests! Overall, all of the staff at NV are lovely and make every effort to make you comfortable. The shop is also always very clean!

Came in from out of town with a botched full set from my local salon. They got me in right away and did an amazing job. The tech was very gentle and thorough. I'm mostly just bummed I won't get this quality of work when I return home. Price for a fill is a little higher than my area, but as it was a nail emergency, I was happy to pay it and their work deserves it. Thank you!

I had Basement Flood Protector out to my home in the spring of 2024 for a major waterproofing job on my personal residence. The job involved a full interior drain tile system and exterior dig/waterproofing on 2 sides of my home. I waited 2 summers before writing this review because the effectiveness of their work can really only be gauged over time. This week, we had torrential amounts of downpour that went on all night. Prior to the waterproofing, my basement would have had water seeping in from the block foundation walls, back basement door, and up through the cracks in my slab. I'm happy to report that my basement stayed completely dry.
Since this job was done in April 2024, I've only had 1 instance of water. I immediately called Basement Flood Protector and, because their work has a 10-year warranty on the exterior and lifetime warranty on the interior, they came out and immediately remedied the situation. No water since.
This was a big job that I did a ton of upfront research on and quoted 3 other big/well-known waterproofing companies. The reason I went with Basement Flood Protector was:
1) Sales Process: John was my contact at Basement Flood Protectors. He did not put on the big sales pitch and presentation I got from 2 of the other companies. He was straight shooting and was clearly the expert in waterproofing, not just a sales person.
2) Responsiveness: Basement Flood Protector answered all my follow-up questions and concerns whereas other companies seemed to dance around some questions. As an example, when asking one of the other big competitors the cost for an exterior dig, rather than saying it's not work they do (or want to do) the sales person verbally quoted me some unrealistic/high number. Another major company completely ghosted after I called/emailed 3+ times to try and speak to someone about moving forward with the job (feel like I dodged a bullet there).
3) The price: They were notably better-priced for the work I wanted done.
Hope this review helps someone as waterproofing can be intimidating. I had an excellent experience with Basement Flood Protector.

Swisher did an amazing job on our house! We got new siding, aluminum soffits and fascia, gutters and gutter guards. His team was profession, quick but thorough and very polite. We got quotes from multiple companies and Chris's quote was very affordable. I am so glad we used them and will use them for our windows in the future. Will definitely recommend using them!

Robert and his crew designed and redid our backyard landscaping last year, including some hardscape work. Robert was very diligent about listening to our desires and created a wonderful new backyard for us. Prior to the completed project, our yard was just a big lawn with no character. Now it is filled with a variety of native plants and we are enjoying the transitions through the season and the many birds and insects that are attracted to the landscape. Bobby’s Tree Care is an outstanding organization. They are extremely responsive and their turnaround was great. I went from requesting a quote to having the work completed in less than 2 days.
They came next day to provide a quote for my service which was a couple trees removed, several stumps ground, and removal of debris. In 2.5 hours they had the work completed while also being careful with the other tree root systems. The pricing was also incredible and it was just an overall great experience.
If you need any work done on trees or stumps, Bobby Tree Care is the absolute best you can call.
This a team that does a great job, is very prompt and responsive. Highly recommend! My yard looks so much better after having several trees in my yard trimmed.

Our dog, Bruda, had UTIs repeatedly & Dr. Sweeney & Dr. Marrinan were the only vets to actually investigate further and take our concerns seriously (& we saw at least 5 vets prior)! Our dog is now healthy & happy thanks to Companion. We are so thankful for all the guidance & support they have provided the past few years!
My dog, Mila, has been a patient of Dr. Gil’s at Happy Paws in Lake Zurich, and I could not be happier with his expertise and kindness. In fact, the entire staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I recently needed an emergency appointment for Mila, and they accommodated us immediately. We were seating in a room as soon as we arrived — 10 minutes after I called for the appointment — and Mila got excellent care for an infection from which she has completely healed. My wife and I have been taking our Cavalier to Dr. Jay Nordstrom and team from the time she was 8 weeks old. As true with a lot of Cavaliers, ours has a heart murmur from birth due to mitral valve disease, and usually dogs with her condition are not expected to get older than 10.
So we did not expect our baby to last longer than that. There have been numerous situations where we thought we are loosing her but Jay and his team refused to give up on her. Today, we are happy to report that 4 months ago we celebrated her 13th birthday. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nordstrom and this place. They are God-sent! Very grateful! Jake and Lena

I love this location the staff is fantastic. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 24 years. I have had several major surgeries in recent years. I have not been able to walk my dog or do other things i love dearly as much as I would like to be able to. After my last massage I was able to walk my dog three times further than I am usually able to. I was also able to start lifting again. Thank you thank you thank you.
