Alyssa walked me through the entire process of leasing a salon suite and how easy it would be to setup my business. I love the community that they have. The Pretty & Pink team was on time, super professional and very friendly/great with young kids! They set up everything and decorated in a super cute way based on the color scheme we chose. All the girls enjoyed their manis/pedis, facials, and crafts. They were kept busy & entertained the whole time with fun music. We just had our new solid surface countertops installed with a new sink and faucet. I highly recommend Mikron Design. Eric was extremely helpful with helping me pick the perfect counter and was very communicative throughout the process. The entire process took less than two weeks. This place should have a line outside waiting for a cut!!! If you're new here they ask what you want and point out how your current cut may affect the job. Stopped several times during the cut to be sure I was happy with the direction. If you need fancy or sexy this might not be the spot. Good cut ... Fair Price ... Local Business ... This should be the spot! I'll be back ...
It's been a while since I've been in a barber shop instead of a stylist or Great Clips. I'm glad I took my wife's suggestion. Very nice cut with friendly atmosphere. Too bad they don't also do shaves as I had a shoulder injury that precluded me taking a razor to my face with my left hand
Jenny is by far the best person doing nails in Lake Zurich. She’s meticulous, she has a high quality polish selection, and her prices are reasonable. Whenever I can’t get in with her I make the mistake of going elsewhere, paying double and redoing my nails when I get home.
Such a cozy and clean salon! Love the pedicure chairs. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing. My technician really took her time and gave me lots of care and attention. I will be back!

I enjoy getting my nails done here. I am not a regular but more a special occasion visit here and there. Every visit, my nails last at least 2 weeks, if not longer!
They do a very nice job, but my last nail tech moved very slowly. They were very much a perfectionist. Give yourself 2 hours for a mani pedi.

Came in from out of town with a botched full set from my local salon. They got me in right away and did an amazing job. The tech was very gentle and thorough. I'm mostly just bummed I won't get this quality of work when I return home. Price for a fill is a little higher than my area, but as it was a nail emergency, I was happy to pay it and their work deserves it. Thank you!

you may or may not know, finding someone to cut curly hair can be a real struggle. i am so glad to have trusted Theresa with my hair, she can really create the shape that my head of hair needs! + she detangles my hair so gently ♥️

My daughter-in-law used Flawless by Tiffany for her wedding. She did a wonderful job. She listened to each persons request on what type of look they felt comfortable in. The only service I had done was a hair cut. I called them when I got there before going in. They sanitize between customers, wear masks and have plastic up at the check out desk. Not many people were in there. Good to be back!

It is refreshing to deal with an honest, competent plumbing company. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them highly. I called them to have a sink disposal looked at. They sent a technician (Lucas) the same day. Lucas was able to fix the disposal without replacing it. But he took it a step further and quoted me on what a replacement would likely cost when the time comes and recommended the make/model for a replacement. It wasn't a sales pitch; it was just good, honest communication for expectation setting.
I also had Lucas look at a couple of repair and replacement jobs that a different plumbing company had done. He confirmed what I'd suspected: That I had gravely overpaid for that other company's services.
Lucas earned my trust in 15-20 minutes. When I have a plumbing issue in the future, Maximum Plumbing will be my go-to immediately. (I already saved their contact info in my phone.)
Had a leaking water heater and they were very helpful working through the process and testing what the problem was. Great communication, great pricing. Will use again for any water problems I have in the future.
I had Basement Flood Protector out to my home in the spring of 2024 for a major waterproofing job on my personal residence. The job involved a full interior drain tile system and exterior dig/waterproofing on 2 sides of my home. I waited 2 summers before writing this review because the effectiveness of their work can really only be gauged over time. This week, we had torrential amounts of downpour that went on all night. Prior to the waterproofing, my basement would have had water seeping in from the block foundation walls, back basement door, and up through the cracks in my slab. I'm happy to report that my basement stayed completely dry.
Since this job was done in April 2024, I've only had 1 instance of water. I immediately called Basement Flood Protector and, because their work has a 10-year warranty on the exterior and lifetime warranty on the interior, they came out and immediately remedied the situation. No water since.
This was a big job that I did a ton of upfront research on and quoted 3 other big/well-known waterproofing companies. The reason I went with Basement Flood Protector was:
1) Sales Process: John was my contact at Basement Flood Protectors. He did not put on the big sales pitch and presentation I got from 2 of the other companies. He was straight shooting and was clearly the expert in waterproofing, not just a sales person.
2) Responsiveness: Basement Flood Protector answered all my follow-up questions and concerns whereas other companies seemed to dance around some questions. As an example, when asking one of the other big competitors the cost for an exterior dig, rather than saying it's not work they do (or want to do) the sales person verbally quoted me some unrealistic/high number. Another major company completely ghosted after I called/emailed 3+ times to try and speak to someone about moving forward with the job (feel like I dodged a bullet there).
3) The price: They were notably better-priced for the work I wanted done.
Hope this review helps someone as waterproofing can be intimidating. I had an excellent experience with Basement Flood Protector.

Swisher did an amazing job on our house! We got new siding, aluminum soffits and fascia, gutters and gutter guards. His team was profession, quick but thorough and very polite. We got quotes from multiple companies and Chris's quote was very affordable. I am so glad we used them and will use them for our windows in the future. Will definitely recommend using them!
A+ Quality was recommended to us by a neighbor and after checking out her finished deck, we contacted this company to have an 18’x6’ balcony added to our home. Robert and his crew designed and redid our backyard landscaping last year, including some hardscape work. Robert was very diligent about listening to our desires and created a wonderful new backyard for us. Prior to the completed project, our yard was just a big lawn with no character. Now it is filled with a variety of native plants and we are enjoying the transitions through the season and the many birds and insects that are attracted to the landscape. Bobby’s Tree Care is an outstanding organization. They are extremely responsive and their turnaround was great. I went from requesting a quote to having the work completed in less than 2 days.
They came next day to provide a quote for my service which was a couple trees removed, several stumps ground, and removal of debris. In 2.5 hours they had the work completed while also being careful with the other tree root systems. The pricing was also incredible and it was just an overall great experience.
If you need any work done on trees or stumps, Bobby Tree Care is the absolute best you can call.

Rosa's Tree Care is an excellent choice for tree services. They have done three jobs for me in the last couple years. They have all the equipment and knowledge to tackle the job. Sandy Point Dental doctors and staff are the best!!! I feel at ease when I am there. Molly, Lupe and Dr. Mceanerny are wonderful. And all the support staff is incredible as well. He is extremely Professional, explains everything, and is PAINLESS. Dr. Song Doesn't want to become a Millionaire off of every patient, and thoroughly explains all your options and good and bad points of each. Office offers state of the art equipment and the staff shows, this is a good place to work. Bravo Dr. You got me and my Family as future patients.

Don’t have enough good things to say about Companion, especially Dr. Sweeney. Our dog, Bruda, had UTIs repeatedly & Dr. Sweeney & Dr. Marrinan were the only vets to actually investigate further and take our concerns seriously (& we saw at least 5 vets prior)! Our dog is now healthy & happy thanks to Companion. We are so thankful for all the guidance & support they have provided the past few years!
Dr. Gill and his wife are absolutely wonderful! I’m a preschool teacher in Lake Zurich, and they generously took time to visit our classroom during our “Community Helpers” theme. Dr. Gill talked with the children about his profession, brought in different doctor tools for them to explore, and even surprised us with three adorable kittens. The kids were so engaged and absolutely loved petting the kittens. It was such a special, memorable experience for everyone—thank you again!
My wife and I have been taking our Cavalier to Dr. Jay Nordstrom and team from the time she was 8 weeks old. As true with a lot of Cavaliers, ours has a heart murmur from birth due to mitral valve disease, and usually dogs with her condition are not expected to get older than 10.
So we did not expect our baby to last longer than that. There have been numerous situations where we thought we are loosing her but Jay and his team refused to give up on her. Today, we are happy to report that 4 months ago we celebrated her 13th birthday. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nordstrom and this place. They are God-sent! Very grateful! Jake and Lena
