“The owner Caleb is beyond awesome. I got a referral from a nurse when I was in the hospital for my mom and the nurse told me to call them from the very first time I talk to him. They helped out tremendously and got me the right stuff I needed to get her approved to get help. If there’s anyone needing help for their family definitely use them they are beyond nice and the owner does truly care about his patients that they have and make sure they have top notch staff working there. Sendy Correa, the client coordinator and training and on boarding, was very friendly and fast paced with helping me with on boarding while customers were coming in and phones were ringing at the same time. Traycee was the only service to call us back out of 6 or 7 that we tried, and we had a caregiver by 9pm that evening. “I was recently hospitalized for a hip replacement, and found that I had greatly underestimated the impact of the procedure and my ability to care for myself at home. I was in a panic as North-Shore/Skokie hospital was going to discharge me the next day. A friend referred me to Jamie Shapiro and Companion Services (Deerfield). She quickly put my mind at ease arranged for someone to care for me my first night home. She also arranged for coverage the next 6 nights, by two caregivers. Although I wasn't sure what my needs were, I told Jamie that I'd rather have someone and not need them than need someone and not have them! All three women were absolute Angels! I was so grateful for their sweetness, compassion and skill, and I know my recovery was greatly enhanced by their help and the peace of mind they provided. “I have had my husband in this marvelous facility for 6 years. I can say this is an excellent care facility. The caregiver to resident ratio is 4-5 to 1--excellent and the facility is white glove clean! They serve homemade food and fresh fruit, not the junk you get at the corporate facilities. It is a comfortable home so residents do not feel they are in a hospital like so many of the big places. This is how assisted living should be done! Check out this wonderful home!“
