“Ricardo and his team are amazing! My husband and I bought a home that had absolutely no landscaping to speak of, and we needed to address some water issues in the basement. Ricardo is incredibly knowledgeable and it’s clear how passionate he is about designing and creating. He showed us easy to care for plants and suggested regrading and burying our downspouts. He even came up with a plan for using some bushes we already had but didn’t like their location. The 3D mockup was so cool to see! The prices are incredibly fair and we were able to do all our “wishlist” items. Our landscaping continues to look great a year later and we had Ricardo and the team out again this year for mulch and an additional area done in the alley behind our fence. Each time he comes out there are little touches that show how they go above and beyond for customer satisfaction (edging around a tree that wasn’t in the plans, extra rocks in other areas as a bonus). “Phase 2So we were finally able to begin phase 2 and change the front yard. All of the old landscaping (mostly overgrown and dead bushes) were removed. We then had our house painted. Pete developed the plan for a new stoop, sidewalk, driveway and landscaping. It changed the look completely. Pete and the entire crew did another fabulous job! They always do quality work. We hope to add lighting.In the winter of 2020 we lost some old arborvitaes in the backyard .Pete put in a great fence, that has become a wonderful addition to the backyard. The very last photo is the original landscaping. It really needed to be updated. Thank you Pete and your crew, we are going to enjoy this for many years. “I had a retaining wall that needed to be repaired and reset as the original installer failed to put in the proper drainage. Greg's team had to dig out and take apart nearly 35 feet of a wall that is 4 feet high. They completely reset the wall, installed the proper french drain system and put it back in better shape than the original wall.

Sloan's also installed a new retaining wall on the side of our house that is severely sloped to create a raised planting bed and stop the erosion from the side of the house. It matches the existing retaining wall that was repaired at the back of our yard. It looks great and our neighbors have commented on how fantastic it looks.

“Had them come out for a spring cleanup in a house I had just moved into in the fall. Great work, and it looks super clean! They also removed some vines, offered advice for fixing the mortar that was damaged due to the vines, and also demo'd an old wall that didn't have a use anymore. Reasonable price, and excellent work, such good work that the neighbors immediately asked for their contact info and will likely be switching to them! If you can't tell if you like them from words on the review, at least know that people who see the work are interested in switching to them!“

“When getting ready to redo our driveway from blacktop to concrete, we asked neighbors on our street for recommendations. Their driveways were more than 10 years old and they still look great. They gave us Tony's phone number and we are grateful they did.
From the first visit we felt Tony would do a great job for us. We had an unlevel, cracked, ugly asphalt driveway and a one-step stoop that was so high, it was scary to step down from. The melted snow ran from the driveway into our garage...that is how much higher our old blacktop driveway was. Tony envisioned a stoop with two steps for safety and esthetics and proposed the idea to us. Obviously, we loved it. Tony was there answering every question, helping us choose materials and always replied within 24 hours, which we found that completely acceptable. So we signed up!
Then the work started and we were equally impressed with John who did all the supervision of their concrete team. We loved to see John working along side the crew, riding the machinery and the pleasant way he treated their workers.
Scaravalle was careful not to pour concrete on days that were too hot for proper curing thus avoiding future cracking.
The pricing was not cheap, but it was FAIR. We received exactly what we wanted, feel we received a quality job and could not be happier with the outcome! We trust our driveway will look as nice as the neighbor's 10 years down the road.
I am attaching some photos (please excuse the water hose on the stoop!) so you can see why we are happy with Tony, John and the Scaravalle crew.
