“Fox Lake Animal Hospital is a truly special place. When our dog needed mast cell tumor surgery, our animal hospital where we pay a membership quoted us $2,500 (also extra for x-rays and medications), with a month-long wait just to get on the schedule. We brought her to Fox Lake on a Friday and she was already booked for surgery the following Monday total cost just over $600.
What stood out most is that this practice puts your pet’s care ahead of sales/profits. Every staff member and doctor we met was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely reassuring during a scary time.
A couple of small notes: it’s first-come-first-served, so expect a longer wait to be seen, and we didn’t get a follow-up text they mentioned sending after surgery. Honestly, though, the savings and quality of care make any minor inconvenience completely worth it.
If your pet needs care and you want a team that treats you like family instead of a wallet, I can’t recommend them enough.”
