Perfect for people who want to train affordably, long term. This is an honest dojo that doesn't want you to drop hundreds of dollars for mediocre training, and the people are some of the nicest you'll ever see. Don't get discouraged by the location because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for anyone wanting to get into martial arts.

This place is great. They aren't in it for profit which means the enrollment is affordable.There is no minimum enrollment fee, you can sign up for once a week and it doesn't have to be the same day each week. Very honest instructors who aren't trying to "sell" you the next belt.I come here with my two kids who are 30 years younger than me and we have a great time. I stay in shape and they learn some discipline. Win-win.

This is an excellent full-service martial arts school. Very kid and family friendly. And a great value for your money: real martial arts training at Park District prices. When I was first looking for a martial arts school for my daughter, I didn't consider the Academy, thinking that this was just a Park District program, something that would be teaching basic self-defense and such and not much more. But the place was recommended by a friend who did a lot of research and we decided to give it a try. Now, few years later, I too train here with my 2 kids.
