It’s a very real and decent place the master and the lady they are really good my kids enjoy this place but I I have to say something parents you bring your kids over here for discipline you to learn something from here but the way you people park your car when you come and drop your kids please see what you were doing you are a living example for your kids you just park in the middle of the stripes where there’s a handicap

I've been coming to South Elgin Budokan for approximately 16 years, since my daughter attended here & now my son has been attending since he turned 4 years old. it's a great place for your children and is very family oriented. Liz and all of the instructors are wonderful people and we love karate days!

The Budokan concept requires ego free dedication and mutual respect from all of its instructors and members. As a Budokan student, you will receive comprehensive training and knowledge of the disciplines while offering traditional and contemporary training to help students build self-esteem and confidence. Our philosophy and curriculums are geared towards creating lifelong Martial Artists. Students must earn their ranks and are never allowed to simply pay a fee to advance to the next level. We believe in building strong minds, bodies and spirits and expect our students to represent their Martial Arts training both inside and outside of the school.
