“We are delighted with all three of the large projects All Around Home Improvements has completed on our 1894 Queen Anne: a porch restoration, a complete window replacement and a gut rehab of an old bathroom. Scott Savel is an able and thorough craftsman who deals calmly with the "surprises" an old house frequently holds and works meticulously to restore old details. Most of all, I'm impressed by the intelligence and enthusiasm he brings to his art. For example, he worked from a faint shadow on our front siding to reproduce the embellishments on the porch posts that existed when our house was built 119 years ago. He found an ingenious way to make a bathtub fit in a space that was 1/2 inch too small. He arrives on time. His estimates have been accurate. His advice has been invaluable.
