“We needed the master bath of our newly purchased home in Elburn remodeled for wheelchair accessibility prior to occupancy. Living 1300 miles away in New Mexico, we bought the home sight-unseen and so we were more than little apprehensive about the process to begin with. We basically picked Spears Design out of the phone book (aka, Google) and had no idea what to expect from them, but we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. After closing on the house, we met Brian on-site to scope out the project and initiate the design process. Brian and his team did a great job guiding us remotely through decision-making on layout, finishes, and fixture selections. He provided multiple floorplans which we chalked out on the driveway in back New Mexico to see which would best function. Scott coordinated and communicated with us during the construction process and posted progress photos to the project webpage. Whenever a problem was encountered, Brian or Scott would reach out and offer solution(s) so an informed decision could be made quickly and keep progress on track.
