Free Mvmt Shop is a warm and welcoming space that offers fun and non-judgmental classes. Instructors, including the amazing April, are encouraging and help participants work at their own pace. The studio is beautiful, with an open concept that enhances the inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the energy, community, and joyful vibes are unmatched. Classes are so enjoyable that they don't feel like exercise, and the workouts, including the popular Energizer Hunny, are hard but fun and welcoming to all levels. Free Mvmt Shop has become a go-to spot for workouts and a part of many weekly routines, where people often introduce themselves to one another, building a strong community feel. It’s a fantastic place to begin or continue a fitness journey, especially with classes like yoga that offer a perfect mix of relaxing and challenging elements.
I love FreeMvmt Shop! Woman-owned and women-centered, it’s such an empowering and positive space, and the workout classes kick my butt in the best ways. I so appreciate 45-minute classes which psychologically feel so much more manageable than an hour! The Strength in Numbers class makes me longer despite strength training, and don’t sleep on the Figure 8 class lest you think a pilates/dance workout is any easier than lifting heavy weights! The teachers are welcoming, patient, and take the time to ensure you know what you’re doing; women of all ages and fitness levels attend and make the space accessible for everyone. Cannot recommend this neighborhood spot enough!

I've only been to Free Mvmt Shop a few times because it's a little far for me, but each time I go I have such an amazing time. The community there is really special and caring. Everyone just seems to love movement and its a very free and safe space for people to just enjoy themselves without feeling the need to be perfect.

Ashley is such an intentional woman. Alongside Chelsea, Hannah (who leads a great yoga flow my sisters & i attended), & the rest of their team...just thrilled to have an establishment like this in North Center (& around the corner from home ?). I'm so excited to keep attending their classes as I go back on my fitness journey.
