“Steve and Sharon presented at the Illinois Society of Healthcare Risk Management Annual Conference on May 20, 2022. Steve introduced us to several yoga stretches we could all do from our chairs. Sharon helped us relax with a focused meditation. What a great pair these two are! “Many years ago an Iyengar yoga teacher told me that I could use my practice when life became difficult. I had no idea what she meant. Most recently I had two loses in my life of people who were close to me within hours of each other. While I have supportive family, friends and community, I could not wait to be on my yoga mat and take classes with Becky Meline and Lois Steinberg. I have never met either of these two teachers in person. I live out of state so my classes are online only. It did not matter to me. Lois and Becky are a gift to Iyengar yoga. “I’ve been seeing Mary for ashiatsu massage for over 5 years. As a student I have really bad neck and back pain. Mary is incredibly skilled at pinpointing the blockages/knots and working through them. After just a few sessions I saw a huge difference and since leaving Urbana I have yet to find a massage therapist as talented and kind as her. She books up quickly so I would recommend having reoccurring sessions on the cal :)“
