March 2026: I visited my doctor for a 20 minute appointment. Later that month, I received an incorrect bill, as expected from this company. In that bill, Christie Clinic ignored my insurance plan’s allowed amount (savings should have been $125.84; see image of my EOB). Instead, Christie Clinic billed me a whopping $174.67 for a 20 minute appointment (see image). I called Christie Clinic, and after a week, they sent me an “updated” bill of $174.67. Yes, you read that correctly. Nothing was changed.
I love my doctor, Dr. Pence, she is amazing and a powerful feminist and gives me time to fully talk through my concerns. I’m giving only 3 stars, however because of the scheduling service of Christie Clinic. At least twice the time of my appointment has been changed or an appointment has been deleted without my knowledge or without notice until the day of. Today I had to reschedule my 1-on-1 with my supervisor because Christie moved my appointment up 40 minutes and didn’t notify me until this morning. One of the best care facilities I've been to. Dr. Ari Pence is so incredible, understanding, and affirming in her approach. The nurses and staff are always kind and patient. My specialist doctors are also super knowledgeable and wonderful human beings!
