I had to board my mini poodle dog Charlie when I went for a week vacation . I didn't want to leave him behind because he had a traumatic past as a puppy mill dog for 7 years before I adopted him and he was scared of everyone even the people of my family !!! I like the Carol Stream facility because of the outside kennel that each kennel has. The place is very clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and courteous and were able to calm my fears. What helped me a lot was the Furever daily report that I paid extra for but was worth the money ! I have left my dog at The Gold Leash for daycare and overnight boarding recently. Signing up is easy and the staff is super friendly! The add on services have helped me to feel very comfortable leaving my shy, nervous dog in their care.

I am extremely happy with The Gold Leash! My dog Bella is very shy and anxious and they have been very gentle with her. I love their FurEver reports! I got to see pictures and videos of Bella playing with other dogs and a little doggy report card. I recommend daycare and boarding there!
