“Following a hail storm in the summer of 2025, we knew we had damage but we were apprehensive about working with roofers and our insurance company. However, Ben (sales representative) did an excellent job of walking us through the process. He stayed connected with us throughout the entire process and was there when the inspector was reviewing my roof. Ben was always on time, friendly and highly knowledgeable on all things roofing. “We had a great experience all around at Illinois Energy Windows & Siding. We walked into the showroom and were greeted by a friendly face, who linked us to a salesman. At the in home consultation we were walked through options, pros/cons and pricing in a thorough, relaxed and pleasant manner. The options we chose (a very cool door, btw) were installed within the promised time frame and exceeded our expectations in appearance, functionality and insulation (installed on a very cold day). The installer was great, speedy, detail oriented and efficient. He walked us through the ins and outs of the door (lol), and left our place cleaner than when he started, I'm embarrassed to admit. Really every step of the process said quality, reliability and value. This is a highly competitive field, but I don't think one could find a higher quality product. Very, very happy we chose IEWS.“

“I got several quotes and Window World was on the lower end of the spectrum. What really sold me was Rob the salesman, he was the best! He helped me get exactly what I needed & didn’t push for more. He also made suggestions where needed. He even recommended a cat toy that my cat now loves! Lol.

The crew that installed the windows did a great job and cleaned up after themselves well. No complaints there. They finished the job quicker than I thought they would, too.

“I appreciate the transparent pricing! The initial in home estimate was quick with no BS which I appreciate. The only issue was followup. I used email but did not get a response. I decided to just walk into the store to get my questions answered. It was helpful to see the difference style windows. The people were very kind and patient with me. I purchased the windows right then and there. Installation day took about 8 hrs for 10 windows and some tare down/reconstruction needed. I was reimbursed for the trim because the one offered was too thin. I appreciate them looking out for me as well as offering suggestions on how they could use the trim but add some more to it. I decided to just get it reimbursement. Lastly, i had some weather stripping issues with a window and they came out the next day to fix it. Overall great experience. I appreciate a company that follows up.“

Bob of Berg Home Improvements was quick to respond to our call and to visit our house, and his estimate was quick and clear, with all options easy to price and evaluate. His crew appeared early, and all were on the roof and working by 7:00 a.m. Crew were polite and careful and worked efficiently and effectively, despite a heat index of 101 degrees and not a whiff of breeze. All roofing completed by noon on the second day. The gutter contractor appeared the next morning and installed ~250 feet of new gutter and gutter leaf guard by 2:30.
Pricing was fair (not meaning so-so, but meaning reasonable and in-line). All along, Bob was easy to work and communicate with, with very quick replies to all my email queries.
