History several times in a row now with hiring various unreliable and undependable people who required payment upfront then never finished (one never even showed at all -- other than to provide a quote and take my money with promise to come back and never did) and then wouldn't return calls -- which is precisely why decided to save up and try a professional service (Matt's) for the first time.
Admittedly was really anxious and had doubts given our previous history with the other non-professional hires, but they came the very next morning after Matt called and actually completed everything exactly as promised. They did a really excellent job, too!

I try to only get my haircuts here. Fast, cheap, good barber. Check the hours as it’s only one barber - not a place with a bunch of chairs - you always know who and what you’re gonna get. The “cutting room” is inside the clothes shop on the left, some of the negative reviews here are ridiculous, and really just a reflection on the person writing. The person cutting your hair is a real person with a personality, and whatever you bring up she’ll share her experiences and reflections genuinely. My favorite barber in Mountain Home.

Lucked out and snagged an appointment with Amber for my daughter. She gave her exactly the look she was going for and it was such a fun experience! She’s so friendly and easy going felt like catching up with an old friend even though that was our first time meeting. Will definitely be returning for future services!

My son's birthday was in a few day's so needed to get cleaned up and get a haircut. I was a walk in the guys where awesome and got me in went for a mid bald fade he knocked it out of the park very thorough honestly the best I've had in a while very friendly good conversation trimmed the stash and beard cleaned the neck up warm towels good service guys keep it up I'll definitely be back!!

Jim and Heather and the men working were very kind toward me and did what I ask them to do. I started out having them replace some beams that were rotting and then added painting the house which was needed. After looking at the siding there were several that needed replaced so I decided to go with new siding all around which I am so glad I did. I kept the same colors other than adding the light blue on the shakes. I am pleased how it turned out. If I had one negative it would be the time it took to complete it all. Part was my fault because I kept adding on, and the main part was they were very busy with other jobs along with short on help which is hard to find these days. They were accommodating, The guys were not only kind but funny and helpful. I tripped and splatted one day and one literally ran to help me up which was impressive. Old ladies like me get a little clumsy. It was easy to communicate with Jim and Heather, and Jim never pushed what I should or should not do. He explained choices and let me make my choice. Thank you, Jim andd Heather and the guys. I admit I missed them today but life goes on to the next scenarios.

The room we had was nice, clean, quiet & very comfortable. Never got to use the pool or hot tub but glanced inside & it looked clean & fun. Great place to go for Family group get togethers. Noticed a couple of different families with several people who were staying there. But in our room on second floor you wouldn't have known they were there. Staff is courteous & friendly. Also very helpful. I know we will stay there next time we are in town.
All of the staff is excellent and Dr Sabol is the best! My pup is somewhat reactive around other dogs so I love being able to hang out with her in the car where she is comfy until they are ready for us.
Friendly, attentive, caring n concerned staff. Treats the animals like their own. Price is up there but I can't complain bcuz my fur baby is worth it.
